Onix and Geodude are ground types. They can't be affected by Thundershock.

Correct, but at least for this video I wanted to be true to the anime, and they don't seem to realize that sometimes. Since Pikachu defeated both Geodude and Onix in the anime, I briefly made them pure rock types for the sake of the video.
