  • Oh. Fuck yeah!

  • great to see roy buchanon its hard to find his footage nowadays

  • that boo gie woo gie comes way too easily to Ole Jerry Lee

  • I'm sure Roy and JLL crossed paths in their younger years. This was a PBS fund-raising special from the early 80s or so, I remember seeing it. Roy's playing during, I think, the Drifters "Save the Last Dance for Me" was also magical.

  • Roy doing his usual shredding, Jerry Lee is killer

  • I've seen them both live. I saw Jerry Lee at the Ryman. Buchanan I stumbled upon at a place called the Cannery. Both are incredible.

  • oldies are for ever!!!

  • That was Cousin Brucie "To Morrow and Beyond" or at least that's what the show should have been named!

  • wow .. what a fantastic clip !!!!

  • That's Cousin Brucie introducing them. Did he have his own TV show?

  • seen him at the aladdin 2004 still sounds real good I couldn't stop shaken and rattle and rollen if u know what I mean !!!!!!

  • The Killer kickin ass as usual. There ain't never gonna be another Jerry Lee once he's gone.Truly one of a kind on the ivory.

  • Wow! Jerry Lee Lewis & Roy Buchanan!! I love them both!!

  • Great!!

  • chain where can I get this?? thanks so much, two awesome musicians, both masters at what they did!!!

  • I have this on DVD in great quality (+ LOTS of other JLL items) if you want it.

  • @ChasNDaveVideos I would love some Killer dvd's

  • yeah, quite outta the place

  • @peterdchecksfield

Are you serious? Roy was simply the best. That was a quick and simple (for Roy) riff, but extremely well played.

  • @Bigfootdean My idea of a great musician is to play something that compliments the music, not just "well played" or "impressive". For the same reason I don't like James Burton's playing with Jerry Lee Lewis, but that certainly doesn't mean that I don't think Buton is very talented, same as Roy.

  • He really looks and sounds Great on this show ..Thanks 4 sharing
