All "sportier cars" seem to have seats with alcantara in the middle and leather bolsters, never made sense to me because the alcantara is a lot tougher then leather and also has a lot more grip. The place where you need toughness and grip most is the bolsters. It should be the opposite.

i love the way they designed the SLR but i wasnt a fan of the interior, the new SLS doesnt look that good especially the back of it, idk what mercedes designers were thinking of!

in terms of power, yes the SL 65 black is the more powerful, having 10bhp more than this SLR.

In terms of acceleration, the SLR will eat the black for breakfast, half a second quicker to 62. And its maximum speed is in excess of 200mph, while the black is limited to 199. However, the SLR is no longer produced. SLS is now the fastest accelerating merc. however, the 65 black remains the most powerful.
