Charo is just as amazing as the first time that I saw her on TV.  A fabulous guitarist, dancer, and comedian. An her music reached number 14!

We took our granddaughter Sasha to see Charo perform at Mohegan Sun when she was 9 years old. It was an incredible show! It was the first live performance that Sasha had been to. She was truly amazed! Charo then gave permission for Sasha to go back stage to meet her. She came out holding a rose that Charo had given to her. Sasha is now 15 and is a singer/songwriter. I wish that Charo knew the effect that she had on Sasha. She has been writing and performing ever sense. youtube/sashayatchenko

I'm from Murcia too and I first heard about Charo when I was living in LA. She should come back to Murcia during September to protest against Bullfighting and bring the American Media with her.

Bravo Charo! I've recently (& thankfully) by accident discovered some of her Spanish guitar work-- I'm sorry it took me this long in life to appreciate her generous musical talents, but I suppose the "TV persona" (which I've also found cute over the years) is what drove her celebrity as I was growing up. She's quite the fine guitarist, however, AND as a bonus, THIS video has the PERFECT message for our Latin friends: dance== DON'T bullfight! Manolo is one lucky baby bull. :)
