  • Great recipe- great dancing Lola ;)

  • This looks delicious. I've used Belgian dark chocolate truffles to make a great Philadelphia style ice cream. Thanks for a great video!

  • I just wondering how long you left it in the freezer. i tried making some today with the same panasonic maker and it came out very hard and icy..maybe i left it in there too long??

  • @KenzeRestricted About 3 hours. :)

  • OMG I just finished making this and it is REALLY good! I have been searching for a good soy-less vegan ice cream, and this one hits the spot.

I used all maple syrup (rather 50-50 mayple/agave). You definitely need to have a high speed blender like you said, because I put it in a cheap food processor and it wasnt creamy at all (and was quite gritty from the cashews). After transferring it to my high-speed blender it made it pretty creamy :) THANKYOU!!! :D

  • STOP ACTING CUTE!Girl..

  • I've made choc avo pudding which would prob work! Give it a try:

    2 ripe avocados

    1/4 cup agave

    1/4 cup maple syrup

    1/2 powdered cacao

  • do you have a reciept of icecream with avacodos?

  • What song is that ? The one they're dancing to and the one that plays at the start of the video? I need to know! O_O

  • This Icecream is Dairy free and it healthy but also good for people who can't have dairy product it good for Lactose Intolerant :D

  • This looks so good, I'm def going to try it. Just one question do the cashews need to be soaking for a certain amount of time?

  • @dayami522

I usually soak over night. :)

  • You are a great mother!

  • That's cute.

  • yay!vegan ice cream!

    great recipe

  • Love the vid. I would like to make this dessert ASAP! Can you tell me what the name of that 'magic' ice cream maker contraption you used is called or where I can get it? It seemed so easy and not too large for storage. Thanks!

  • @splendidnblended #

The ice cream maker is the Panasonic BH-941P Ice Cream Maker. It's very easy to use and compact. Just don't put too much "batter" in it because then it won't freeze sufficiently.

  • @KaliLilla

Thank you so much! I will score the internet to find it. Looks so handy! I'll be sure not to fill it too much Thanks for the tip! can't wait to make this.

  • girl is adorable

  • looks good.

  • Your little helper has a GREAT personality for show biz!!! WOW so adorable! :)

  • i made this same recipe but added coconut water instead of regular water and also added the flesh of the coconut. mmm!!!

  • @Flutechito

    Niiiiiice!That sounds yum!!

  • SO CUTE !

  • nice thank you :)

  • thanks! you are so kind to answer! I will get the vitamix, just someone mentioned a blendtech.. be well and have a great day!

  • which blender is she using?

  • And Jenny1954 gives the world yet another example of why people view us vegan/PETA types as jerks.

  • I don't think it will come out the same, but give it a whirl!

  • Can you use raw honey instead?? I'm having a REALLY hard time finding raw maple syrup in my area.

  • This has my vote for the CUTEST youtube video EVER!

  • Thanks. :)

  • do you use raw maple syrup? is it possible to get that? :) great video!

  • No, maple syrup is not available raw. :(

  • @Vannymfen Since Maple Syrup is made from boiling sap from a tree. That would be impossible. Raw syrup is Maple sap.

  • lol @ 6:42

  • Wow AWESOME. Just what I wanted to find :3 A raw and Vegan ice cream recipe!

Thanks for posting it :D I may have to replace the cashews with some other kind of nuts (Since I'm only going to use what I find around the house)

    5/5

    Go Vegans!!

  • I'm looking for the best ice-cream maker out there. What kind is the one you use here?

  • it looks great...where did you get that ice cream maker machine ?????

  • Aww..shes so cute

  • how long do you soak the cashews before blending?

  • This is why she calls it a Raw Vegan ice-cream meaning no animal products.

Also meaning that it is a healthy substitute for ice-cream, because animal products are unhealthy.

    (:

  • cashew and water make a cashew cream.

  • Very informative! That looks really good, I've been looking for a dairy-free alternative to regular ice cream, thanks for posting this.

Would almonds work as well as cashews?

  • Almonds will taste good but cashews work best because they're slightly sweeter and have a higher fat content (and no skin although you could peel your almonds.) Macadamias are a good substitute.

  • hope chocolate chip doesnt have whey in it!

  • Nope - they're vegan chips!

  • Very nice....what a great memory maker you are you are for your Niece.

  • 6:50 was funny.. her face hHAHAHA

  • Yeah she's a riot - haha! I didn't realize half the things she did and said while my back was turned UNTIL I watched the vid.

Another vid with my niece coming this week!

  • oops you answered the question below! d'oh!

  • what brand of ice cream maker did you get? and how long did it take to "make" the ice cream in the freezer?

  • It took about 4 hours for the ice cream to freeze because I put in too much at once. next time I will split it in half and do two batches.

  • thank you so much for the info, I will favorite this video and try it in the near future, I promise.

thanks again, keep posting, can't get enough.

  • great video. what Kind of blender did you use/brand name? and how long did you soak the nuts b4 you started?

  • I soaked the cashews for about 4-5 hours.

  • This is simply fabulous. I gotta try this!

I love how your neice sneaks a chocolate chip when you turn to the freezer. XD

  • Yeah, it's a classic shot. LOL.

  • I use the Ktec Champ HP3 blender. The Vita-Mix Countertop Blender with 2+ HP Motor is good too.

The ice cream maker is the Panasonic BH-941P Ice Cream Maker. It's very easy to use and compact. Just don't put too much "batter" in it because then it won't freeze sufficiently.

    Good luck! :)

  • Oh and by the way what kind of icecream maker is that? it seems really simple. I need something simple like that.

  • Hi What kind of blender is this you are using? I am still shopping around.

  • Great video. I want ice cream too!!! Yum, found your video on the altglobe website. Kid is cute, I have a niece too perhaps I can put her to work but I was thinking of getting her to move some heavy rocks in my yard but on second thoughts making ice cream seems better like a better plan!

  • Move heavy rocks huh? Wish I had thought of that! :)

Thanks for the altglobe tip. Cool website.

  • this recipe looks amazing. And I have to ask, is the "guest helper" vegan? She is so smart and enunciates her words better than most kids I've seen! Great video.

  • Thank you! My niece is an incredible kid if I do say so myself. ;)

She's not vegan, although I do try to teach her new vegan recipes or get her to try new fruits/veggies when we're together.

  • Great vid Lilla! I'll have to try that recipe one day!

  • Thanks Adam! LMK when you make it.

  • I'll think I'll give it a shot on my next scheduled free day, 2 weeks from today!

  • I'm going to hold you to that!
