  • exellent

  • i love opening theme, What's that?

  • haha its funny to see kraftwerk walk onto the set with the opening music

  • Yeah this is ROBOTS... not Radioactivity.

  • @easttexaspcrepair It is both songs. radioactivity starts at 4:08

  • @JiGe96 Actually it started at 4:16, but regardless, the description is VERY misleading since it doesn't mention ROBOTS at all and that just happens to be the FIRST song playing?

  • @easttexaspcrepair True, I just guessed the starting time since I was so into the music bubble. But you are right, it is misleading. BUT it contains the radioactivity also, and who's to mind one of their other extraordinary songs before? Not me. :-)

  • @JiGe96 Well if I go in the kitchen and I find a package of oatmeal that says "bananas" I'm not expecting to get oatmeal that has "apples". Just sayin... easy to edit

  • this is "the robots" not "Radioactivity" ?

  • SO ahead of their time...

  • I like so much this video, Kraftwerk is the best!! :D

  • i love their faces, very beautiful faces and i love kraftwerk tunes very much godfathers of electropop, synthpop, technopop, robot pop

  • great band allways love there music.

  • T'in que de souvenirs !!! j'avais 6 ans !!! trop bon encore de nos jours, ca fait grave musique psychédélique !!!

  • How can they stand so perfectly still with THAT kind of music going on...?? :)

  • :0 dans french ''''

  • i like how Ralf And Florian only move their mouths

  • Je comprends pourquoi Odeurs avait fait "Couscous Boulettium"...

  • The lovely robots!!!!!!!!!!!! =D

  • They didn't blink once o_o

  • @XVengeanceXV We all know that robots don't have to blink... :P

  • I've only been alive for 17 years, but I can vaguely imagine how awesome it must seem to turn on the television in 1978 and see this

  • @Technicolor909 It was quite awesome. I was 7 back then and my parents didn't allow me to watch Star Wars, cause it was too brutal for little me in their opinion. Every magazine back then had pictures of R2D2 and C3P0 in it and then there was this Roboter-Song in the radio... and even at that age I somehow noticed that this sounded totally ... new and different. :)

  • Awsome! Ralph stands pretty much perfectly still!

  • A couple of comments have picked up on the fact the track "Robots" comes before "Radioactivity" A wonderful video, I always love seeing vintage Kraftwerk and the fact they didn't saturate the media with live performances always makes it far more interesting to watch..as for the comment they were 'wax models' lol, pay closer attention and the idea of hating music because its 'electronic' is as deranged as me saying I hate music with guitars, good music is good music and bad music is bad music!

  • so cool!!!

  • They look more like ventriloquist dummies then robots if you ask me lol but whatever suited them as a "robot" look is cool by me! :D

  • black eye peas sample these guys, these guys influence hiphop...african bambota..roger troutmant...etc

  • I usually hate electronic music, but you just HAVE to admire their innovative spirit. And I also like the sort of creepy atmosphere in many of Kraftwerk's songs.

  • i am exactly the same! i hate all other techno

  • robots and radioactivity ! ;-)

  • kraftwerk,the pioneers of electro-funk!!!!

  • this is NOT a live performance!!!

these are studio versions of robots and radioactivity!

the instruments and microphones were switched off.

  • Who thought it was!? xD

  • In the video description is written "Live Performance".

But these are the studio versions!

  • Ah, I didn't get 'round to reading the description...

  • did they use wax models or was kraftwerk just acting

  • when?

  • just WOW!

  • I N C R E I B L E!!!!!

  • Amazing electronic vibrations!

  • it's GREAT and kult !!!!! kraftwerk from germany;-)))

  • Poor Karl

He looks like hes about to puke...

    All that stage makeup!

  • I haven't seen this version!! Wonderful. Thank You.

I graduated from highschool in Indiana in 1978. I was deemed one of the strangest kids in my class because I listened to Kraftwerk...people thought it was because of my last name....little did they know...I was on the frontier of Techno and they were still listening to Foghat.

  • if i may, can i ask what your last name is? lol.

  • dkraft1 is my YouTube screen name....so my last name is Kraft.

  • excellent :)

  • @dkraft1 Oh man. You are so much like me. Not only am I also from Indiana, but I got into these guys in the fourth grade. Yes. You heard me right. I discovered them after picking up an obsession with speech synthesis that stemmed from messing with the Macintalk at the school. Everybody thought I was so weird and I was. BUT WHO CARES? I CAN LISTEN TO CREEPY FUTURISTIC ROBOT MUSIC IF I WANT TO! XD

  • sacré antoine !

  • exactly kompwelt - This is so incredibly awesome and original, to this day. For some reason Kraftwerk has been on my mind a lot lately. Great to get my fix!

  • that's the robots, and radioactivity right after it...
