@bigtwnvin I must agree with you, Disco was great music, I didn't get to experiance much of it as it was just starting to die when I was brought on to this earth, but being able to listen to my parents records when I was young and being able to listen to it now, I don't no why people hated disco so much, it was fun to dance to, most all of the songs had meaningful lyrics, its just beyond me why people hated it so much.

All these years, I seriously thought that Tavares was a Latin-band and wondered why there wasn't more Latin music produced today with a similiar sound and popularity. Today's Latin music to me has a certain circus/fair ground feeling, not something you get out and get down to -- like Tavares.

I grew up in the 70's and I truly appreciate the artist that really sang...these young folks haven't a clue of true talent. I am so thankful to hear these songs today. So many great memories. Who has memories on a Bump n Grind song....give me Always n Forvever or Reason...now that's music
