@TheProphetMo That isn't even true, I'm a muslim and I know that everything you said is ullshit. You are just are just a troll. AND WHATS with your youtube name, offensive much?

@theheroabody well then tell your people to start condeming those terrorists and for them to join the soldiers and destroy and finish them and anyone who is affiliated
@tableturns77 All terrorists really have no brain at all and if they did join the soldiers They would betray them, and if you're such a "genius" then how are they supposed to do that? Honestly people thinking its so easy to do stuff and keep hating on the internet mostly on muslims.... saying they are "terrorists", well if you think all muslims are terrorists then you should go suck on dick and die...
@theheroabody wasnt talking about the terrorists about joining the soldiers you idiot, i was talking about the regular muslims to prove to the people that most muslims are not evil, and another thing about muslims that makes me outraged is they want special treatment from people like theyr so fuckin special
In memory of all those innocent civilians who were murdered senselessly in ALL GROUND ZEROs around the world, including 9/11 (3000), Iraq (millions), Afghanistan (millions), Kosovo (millions), Ruwanda (millions), Vietnam (millions), Korea (millions), Hiroshima (millions), Nazi/WWII (millions), etc...Let's hope these darkest moments of human history teach us to forgo bigotry, love and forgive each other & unite against all those who have harmed humanity in one way or
@optimistsRUS While i empathize with a world free of bigotry and hate. I am also one to be realistic about these sort of things. As long as there are two people on this world there will always be disagreements and differences in thought. While this is a beautiful thing as it leads to diversity and uniqueness, at the same time it leads to hate and bigotry. As long as people exist there will be hate war and violence. It is a fact of life. That is not to say the more rational people cant get along
I agree, as long as there is diversity there will be difference of opinion, but how people take it out on "the other" makes a lot of difference. When Christian Europeans landed on the New World, the local "different" people offered them presents and Columbus described them as "naive people" who wouldn't say no to anything and he said that they will make nice slaves, he enslaved them to work for digging gold which wasn't there.
In memory of all those innocent civilians who were murdered senselessly in ALL GROUND ZEROs around the world, including 9/11 (approx. 3000), Iraq (millions), Afghanistan (millions), Kosovo (millions), Ruwanda (millions), Vietnam (millions), Korea (millions), Hiroshima (millions), Nazi/WWII (millions), etc...Let's hope these darkest moments of human history teach us to forego biggotry, love and forgive each other & unite against all those who have harmed humanity in one way or another.
How about no Churches near places where European Christian colonialists murdered Natives, where Timothy McVeigh killed innocent people, where Nazi Christians killed innocent people, where Christian French and Americans killed Vietnamese and Iraqis, where Crusaders killed Jews, Muslims and even Eastern Christians (Eastern Europe to Asia Minor, Syria and Holy Land)?
In memory of all those innocent civilians who were murdered senselessly in ALL GROUND ZEROs around the world, including 9/11 (approx. 3000), Iraq (millions), Afghanistan (millions), Kosovo (millions), Ruwanda (millions), Vietnam (millions), Korea (millions), Hiroshima (millions), Nazi/WWII (millions), etc...Let's hope these darkest moments of human history teach us to forego biggotry, love and forgive each other & unite against all those who have harmed humanity in one way or another.
Wow.... just wow... so wait... What would happen if a Christian bombed the Twin Towers instead of a Muslim? Would we be like he's just crazy and not all Christian people are like that. Or would we be like this and hate all Christians? Honestly crazy people are crazy people, there are people like that everywhere, and they definitely do not represent anything. Especially their religion.
I think the atheists would have a leg to stand on in promoting further secularism in the United States. Christians would just try to tie it to a certain Christian group and try to promote Catholicism or Evangelism (Lutheranism).
@boberthg Partly agree with you were it not for the fact that the later violent verses of the Quran are seen as *superior* to the earlier moderate ones.
I.e. the teachings of Islam have a direct connection to the violence of 911, whereas xtians mostly do not.
Well this was bound to happen as people learn the real truth of Islam evil history and how horrible Islam really is. People are fed up with Jihadists and radical Islamic extremists. Totalitarianism, fascism and military components of sharia destroy everything in democracy and freedom of speech. People who say Islam is a religion of peace are retarded and blind or hypocrites or liars. Islam is not about peace, it is a about war against the infidels and destruction of all non muslim countries.
On Sep 11, please join the Americans across the world in "BURN the QURAN" Day !
This is to remember the 3000 innocent people in NYC who got killed by Islamic Terrorists flying 747 into Twin Towers as planned and directed by Osama Bin Laden, the Al-Qaeda Islam Preacher.
@AzerChristians im sorry brother but the information u have is false but ur smarter than that you should realise that islam would not ask to provoke such violence though everyone knows that 911 was an inside job why wont you believe that.
@UrMumIsSoBadAss90 im sorry brother but the information u have is false but ur smarter than that you should realise that islam would provoke such violence though everyone knows that 911 was an Islamic terrorists' job why wont you believe that.
@AzerChristians ok but do you honestly believe that 19 people will change the face of islam and acuse it of being violent and uncaring i promise you that there are soo many documantaries proving that 911 was an inside job if u dont believe me go and search for alll of them watch 'loose change' and watch 'the arrivals' and watch alex jones 'end game' ive seen so many comments from u hating islam didnt jesus say love thy neighbour and love your enemy why wont you take that into account
There is no such thing as Islamaphobia, as a matter of fact Islam unpopularity is a result of its own demise with its radical Islamic extremists acting out in its name. People like Geert Wilders have already come to speak out and give criticism among many others like Wafa Sultan, Brigitte Gabriel, Oriana Fallaci, Salmun Rushdie, Richard Dawkins and Pat Condel who made a video on a no ground zero mosque. Islam is a 7th century ideology founded on hypocrisy and lies.
When enough muslims are in USA, say 40%, they will ALL resist to join military, just like Mohammad Ali did. Then, if an Islamic power attacks USA, which is most likely to happen than from China or Russia, USA constitution or not, is a moot point as 40% of Muslim Americans would JOIN the fight and greet the invaders. After that, no more constitution and we ALL have to pray to Allah 5 times a day, or get beheaded to meet our lord.
@MrAthanz That would be a lie. Muslims DON'T serve the US Military. Example is the famous Mohammad Ali, the boxer. Since then, no Muslims join the military.
Liar ! you are just a typical Muslim... just a liar. Qu'ran records a pedophile prophet who was 52 yr old fucked a 9 yr old girl Aisha, and mass murdered hundreds of people in Medina. Since his death, Sunnis and Shiites have been massacring each other for 1600 years and STILL daily in Pakistan.
@AzerChristians from the looks of it your just flame baiting and treading among the good names of our Muslim soldiers who served in the US Armed forces, just for the lulz. Theres no point in responding to you after this. "Thousands of Muslims have served in the United States military — a legacy that some trace to the First World War. " -Times
@MrAthanz Wow.... First world war !!! LOL.... why don't you talk about how Muslims helped NAZI to massacre all the Jews in the SECOND World war you dumb FUCK !
Burn the QURAN on Sept 11 all over the world !! This Islam shit belongs to Mass Murderer & Pedophiles like Mohammad ( Piss be upon him ) !
@amasuEnd I wish I was. Jews have much higher IQ than dumb Arabs. Einstein was a Jew and Jesus was a Jew, got it ? These are great thinkers. Arabs had Mohammad who fucked 9 yr old girl Aisha when he was 52 years old, and fornicated with his maid, Mary, and got CAUGHT ! LOL, he beheaded hundreds of people and called it ALLAH's wishes to KILL human beings. Quran teaches and demands Muslims to HATE Jews and KILL them if you find them. Sunnis kill Shiites kill Sufi & Ahmadis muslims for 1600 yrs !!
@AzerChristians did the Apostle Paul orally Circumcise Young Apostle Timmothy or did he hold Young Timmy's cock and rub it until it got hard enough to snip? Always wondered how Apostle managed to circumcise Timmy and all to fool the Jews, who aren't brightest people on Earth. After all it took their Idiot Savant Moses 40 years to find a way off a Penninsula surrounded by water on three sides. Honestly someone could of said ,'Hey shithead, we used to live there 2000 years go its that way."
@MrAthanz Have You ever heard of the Fort Hood massacre ?? Yeah, done by a Muslim major who didn't want to go to Afghanistan and instead, he killed 19 US soldiers in his own BASE !!
We can NEVER trust having a MUSLIM in military EITHER.
THE JEWS ARE SIMPLY TRYING TO REDIRECT UR HATE TO MOSLEMS, AFTER STEALING ALL YOUR COUNTRIES WEALTH IN THE STOCK MARKET. because the depression is coming....... and they dont want you to see that GREENSPAN lowered interest rates and made you all lose your shirts in real estate. Just so USA wouldnt feel the pain of 911, and keep supporting Israel. They CLEANED U OUT.
@TonyKinneyRasmussen And I'm sure they'll get it, no matter how tenuous the link. I've no idea why even conservatives watch that tripe. Everything's so negative on that channel - everyone's a bad guy and it's all about conflict. Check out bbc.co.uk for conservative commentary minus the tinfoil hattage, and if you believe Obama's a Muslim you didn't hear the peals of shocked laughter all around the world when we learnt so many Americans believe he's a Muslim. It's like a comedy skit. Lulz.
@1dustycat The invasion of Cordoba happened 1,300 years ago. All those people are dead and so are their grandchildren. Since that time at least 100 cultures spanning all geographic regions, races and religions have expanded their empires by invading other people's cities. Some pretty recent, if you catch my drift.
@Kodotheshoe: No, you can't be racist against a religion. But you can be ignorant, alarmist and bigoted. And that's just as bad.
@oddblob99... and that's why it's named the Cordoba center - right? Cordoba, a city of Islamic conquest where they built their icons upon the ruins of the past Roman Empire and the conquered Spanish. One of the first places the Islamic army's began the practice of trying to erase the past & replace it with their own. A section of one of the planes went into the Burlington coat factory which closed on 9/11/01 due to the damage, Building upon the ruins, learn form history
@Garrys300 Sun screen that gives you cancer, but Skin and Family Patriots says it actually makes you immune to it! And the evil left is trying to ban it alongside YOUR FREEDOMS! Tonight, on Hannity, only on Fox.
Yoo, you gotta check out this Taiwanese News in Anime, sick & twisted, but brilliant cause they can't get real footage so this puts it into detail, sick BLURRR
Imam is doing right thing, Only suicide bombers or extremist Muslims would get that much attention in western press, this is first time that western press is reporting some Moderate person who represents the view of Muslims in middle east, so what if he criticizes America, that doesn't make him terrorist or extremist.
Americans kill millions of people in between Muslim population, create a separation nation for Jews by ethnic cleansing Palestininans and fight many wars for that Jewish nation , but when Muslim build a community center on legal occupied land, their feelings get hurt.
Its nothing but Nazi mentality and every body in world should fight this Nazi mentality, American president Lincon faught for equality of black people but once he died they repealed every law created by him.
I can understand why people are so against building something so close, but I can't understand why people are so passionately against moving it to another place where the mosque/community center will actually do some good and help bridge the gap between Muslims and others in the community.
I think they should move it elsewhere. And no, I'm not against them - I want them to win. Moving it elsewhere defuses the arguments of those against it and will leave their rantings stripped bare as racist hatemongering. They'll oppose any new site as well, perhaps even violently, forcing them to backtrack their rhetoric and making liars of them. Look up Phyrric Victory - allow your enemy a win in the knowledge it isn't a win for them at all - quite the opposite.
@sparkydaskworl That's where you are wrong. Moving it elsewhere will totally defuse the issue and no one will be against it if it is far away from Ground Zero. 76% of Americans support building mosques in their own cities. It shows that most Americans are tolerant of Islam, and the opposition is not based on racist hatemongering, but based on sensitivity. If their stated goal is truly outreach and understanding, then they should move. This is terrible PR and the polar opposite of outreach.
@rate5not1 I agree most moderate Americans have no real problem... what I'm talking about defusing is the sections of the media that make money from peddling hate to the stupid. It's a stream of poison that must be diffused first so those of an ill-educated, religious or elitist bent will have no-one to cheerlead their awful ideas. I also agree the people behind the CC are mis-stepping - my thought is they're deliberately provoking an even more unreasonable reaction. Job done. They should move.
@sparkydaskworl Also, if their goal is truly outreach, then they should brush off accusations of bad faith and not engage in bad faith themselves. The mosque supporters are basically accusing the opposition of bad faith. There are legitimate reason to oppose the mosque based on sensitivity to victims of a national tragedy. Painting the opposition as racists, bigots and hatemongers is not a good starting point for outreach and greater interfaith and cross-cultural understanding.
The CG is bizarre, but sadly the issues are serious. It's clear that people would oppose the building of a mosque anywhere in Manhattan now, regardless of logic or reason. This kind of mindless hate is disgusting.
@oddblob99 Bull Shit...I'm sure there will be more up coming hate crimes against the muslims...If muslims want to live here they should obey our laws or get the Hell out.........TAXI....
Jeez whatever we do we'll lose. We don't build it we show fear, intolerance and the terrorists win or we do, it's near ground zero a "victory" and the the terrorists win
@oddblob99 Yes, it's not at ground zero, but saying that it's two blocks also understates the proximity. At this point, it's clear this Islamic center is meant to provoke and signal Islamic victory to other jihadists. Imam Rauf has been on record supporting 1) radical Islam 2) Wahhabism 3) Osama Bin Laden's use of terrorism and violence 4) terrorism as legitimate warfare 5) destruction of Israel to make way for one Palestinian state. It claims to heal, but it's intended to provoke.
@longhornmed Victory for Islamic extremists? Go talk to any terrorist and I guarantee that they really hate the Muslims building the mosque, and they want the mosque removed, as to them, the imam building it is a heretic for supporting ideas like FRIENDSHIP BETWEEN NORMAL AMERICANS AND MUSLIM AMERICANS. This is not a victory for terrorism. However, your fear of Islam is a TOTAL VICTORY FOR TERRORISM. (Just look up the goals of terrorism.)
@starrodkirby Nice try. The Imam only pays lip service to friendship and outreach. Why not change course and build somewhere else when so many normal Americans oppose building it there if he is truly interested in outreach and friendship? 62% of New Yorkers oppose building the Islamic center there. Yet, 76% of Americans support building mosques in their own cities. This is a provocation by a radical Imam, funded by foreign proceeds from terrorism.
@rate5not1 why should they build somewhere else WHY ? why Islam responsible for your 9/11 Inside job ? were American Muslims behind it NO so they have no fucking reason to back off! Constitution is with them!
@kallikusta They have every reason to back the fuck off. Just because something is legal, doesn't make it moral. The goal of every religious person should be to do what is moral, not just meet the bare minimum of doing what is legal.
@kallikusta Their own stated goal is to create more understanding, more friendship and more outreach. How is pissing off 9/11 victims' families and regular Americans who are otherwise tolerant of and friendly to Islam a good starting point for these goals??? You show yourself to be an unhinged lunatic by saying 9/11 is an inside job. It was clearly the work of radicals who perverted Islam.
@rate5not1 you tell me how far a mosque should be in order to be not sensitive itsn ot eve n@ ground zero. today its NYC tomorrow whole NY than whole east coast!
this is a start of a new racism era just liek what blacks went through! dont give em BS sensitive families excuse its been 10 years they should get over it.! thousands died in Iraq and Afghanistan no one is bitching about that hundreds die in Palestine
@kallikusta Again, 76% of Americans have no problems with new mosques in their own backyards figuratively speaking. 62% of New Yorkers oppose the GZM. So how is it racist to oppose a mosque that is so close to ground zero? 62% of New Yorkers are not racists. Lots of Muslim-friendly people and Muslims themselves don't want this mosque. You must live in a cave if you don't think people bitch about the deaths in Palestine, Iraq & Afghanistan.
@lonovik The people opposed to the mosque aren't opposing it based on legal grounds, in fact, there is essentially no legal ground to oppose it. So this is not a matter of equal rights or freedom of religion. If the stated goal of the Islamic center is community outreach or mending fences or building bridges, they have failed miserably by insisting to build there.
@lonovik The statistics are not meant to show who is right and who is wrong, or whether this or that is ok or not. Please put on your critical thinking hat. If 76% of all Americans don't mind mosques being built in their own cities, while 62% of New Yorkers, who are supposed to be more liberal and more tolerant, oppose this Islamic center, how can you say the opposition to the mosque is somehow borne of bigotry and bad faith akin to less enlightened Americans opposing equal rights for blacks?
@lonovik Dude, listen to yourself. You're getting your information from a fucking animation made in Taiwan, which happens to include a joke gay bar proposed by Greg Gutfield next to the proposed Islamic center. A study by publicreligion(dot)org shows that 76% of all Americans, 84% of Americans without religious affliation and 69% of white evangelical christians favoring mosques in their own community.
only 15% of white evangelical Christians support Community center.
Every body talks that they would allow local Mosque , but in reality every where is same situation, there are protests every where in America against Mosques.
@longhornmed And this is why we don't leave the civil rights of a minority to a majority vote, especially when christians are essentially waging their own holy war on the issue in response to islam's..
@rujiel17 OMG... this is not about civil rights, freedom of religion or tyranny of the majority. Calling this a holy war by Christians is ridiculous when basically two thirds of New Yorkers are opposed to this.
Most leaders behind this demonization are the people who are follower of apolyptic Christianity. They are just waiting for return of their Jesus, so what is best way ? Kill Muslims and make way for all Jews in middle east. thats why there is so much propaganda.
Robert Spencer, Pam Geller are the people with fascist ideology who want to kill all Muslims, go check their website SIOA some time. I am uploading a movie soon about that.
@lonovik Try not to follow these so called leaders too closely, because no one is following them. How many New Yorkers even know of these "leaders" and if they know of them, how many actually ascribe to their beliefs? Don't you think it's kind of ironic? Muslims complain about being demonized. But their understanding of American style Christianity is basically propaganda and demonizations.
@longhornmed Putting aside whether it's a mosque--most of those who oppose it are christian. Why else would they care? Why would a nonbeliever care whether it's a mosque or a church that is built? A nonbeliever would think each religion to be equally silly, and oppose neither especially. Christians get offended by the notion that mosques are built in tandem with conquest, and get caught up in a holy war of their own making. This is absolutely about civil rights--where and how one can worship.
@kallikusta Different people will tell you what the appropriate distance is. I think they will eventually come to a compromise. The mosque/community center will do a lot more good and create a better image for nonviolent Islam if they move farther away.
@lonovik How do you even arrive at this conclusion? If they move, it's a gesture of good faith. They already stumbled by insisting to build there in the first place. Now that it's perceived as a provocation by a vast majority of New Yorkers and Americans in general, there is no way they will succeed in community outreach.
Muslims moves or not , they are not going to change their view until Nazi media in west stop their propagand, so best way would be to build community center and show them the real Islam, until than only News about Islam they would get would be from fascist media in west.
they should build it , this is the only their chance for sending their message to west, other wise only message west get is through suicide bombings done by extremist groups. Imam is doing right thing.
@lonovik You sound like extremist yourself. Listen to yourself. "Nazi media" "Show them the real Islam" Nothing like issuing thinly veiled threats of terrorism about "sending their message to [the] west." Your support of the Islamic center at its presently proposed location basically confirms all suspicion that this mosque is going to turn into a shitpile for extremist flies.
That is not Mosque, that is community center. There are hundreds of Mosques in New Yorks, there is Mosque in within 2 blocks of WTC. This is all propaganda which is causing so much controversy, other wise that Imam has good intentions and he should not listen to any one.
@lonovik Look I don't want to keep this up. The Imam can do whatever. He said the Islamic center is for outreach and for healing. If he doesn't listen, he fails miserably at his stated goal.
This is the only chance for Muslims in America, If he lost it, the things never be same, Christian satanic leaders have already setup their plans for conquering the world after 2nd coming of Jesus.
@starrodkirby Again, Imam Rauf has been on record supporting 1) radical Islam 2) Wahhabism 3) Osama Bin Laden's use of terrorism and violence 4) terrorism as legitimate warfare 5) destruction of Israel to make way for one Palestinian state. Why would terrorists and radical jihadists oppose him when he stand for what they believe in??
Don't support terrorism by hating Islam. Destroy terrorism by building and defending schools in Afghanistan, which we are doing right now. Schools offer economic opportunity and a lasting defense against the influence of Islamic EXTREMISTS. That is the big reason why war spending is up. It's to give these poor children stuck in a war zone an opportunity to become successful, and help their country too.
@starrodkirby I don't hate Islam at all. I just see this mosque for what it really is. A mosque funded by foreign radicals, led by an Imam who justifies and supports terrorism against the United States.
@longhornmed where do you gets ur facts from FAUX news ?
you people have no fucking right to say a single word, go first learn the fact s than talk! Its not even a fucking mosque retard! its a community center.
How about let's call this what it really is, "Judeo-Christian*-ophobia* on the part of Muslim zealots who won't reveal the sources of funding for this "cultural center"(SIC!), & yet continue to insist on "their rights" to poke their fingers into the eyes of the vast majority of the native population, hmmm? "Building bridges" my a**! Where's the "tolerance", where's the "understanding" that could lead to a compromise on the part of the shady Muslims funding this charade? Nowhere to be seen.
@oddblob99 And the Muslim who rapes and then murders your children will be offering you a way to improver inter-faith relations when he moves in next door to you and flies his "They loved every second of it" flag on his lawn. You are an imbecile masquarading as a moron.
@rujiel17 It's at least refreshing to see a Liberal publicly laughing about the deaths of 3,000 innocent people. You're doing at bang-up job at this humanity thing.
@braininahat I'm laughing at the notion of a Muslim raping and killing anyone in my family when, in this country, it's statistically more likely by a factor of more than 100 to be done by a Christian, if at all. BTW, I totally missed the part about those guys raping people on the planes or maybe beforehand, please inform me on that.
@rujiel17 Yeah, that's cute, but you're missing the point of the analogy, genius. The point is that should this happen, it would be ridiculous to invoke the notion of intolerance when confronted with letting the rapist-murderer move in next to you and taunt you with the gruesome crime he commited. Your stupidity isn't entertaining, nor is your rhetorical convincing, but you are a paradigm Liberal moron. I thank you for strengthening my point.
@braininahat You're missing the fact that it's a Sufi Islamic center, and not Wahabbist. It's like the difference between Mitt Romney and Warren Jeffs. One is a Mormon politician, and the other is a Mormon polygamist that had forcible sex with underage girls.
Seriously, to tie this Islamic center to any act of Muslim fundamentalism is absurd.
@particle409 No, simpleton, what's absurd is to try to portray this as anything but a victory monument and an affront to Americans, especially to those whose loved ones were murdered that day. You should go read the Q'ran -- it's not a peaceful religion, by any means, and people who lie and say it is are lying about it...just as the Q'ran dictates they do. There is no misunderstanding the Q'ran. It's crystal clear. intolerantly and violently so.
@Garrys300 Oh gee, I guess I've been refuted. Awesome comeback, dude. Now watch me totally refute everything you said: Uhm...I've decided that you're the stupidestest person who has ever lived.
Tuition for a good college education: $8,000/year
Price for a library card and some late fees: $25/year
The transparent rhetorical ploys of a Liberal: Priceless.
@braininahat hmmm............ok you can still have your trophy ,because even though you attempt to be intelligent and educated, without your older sister dictating what you type you can't do shit for individual thought.and in case you are trying to be funny don't quit your day job......hmmm do you have a job? I wonder? you really should change your name to reflect who you really are.......maybe braininrectum ?
@Garrys300 You mentioned my sister. You said I can't do shit for individual thought. You asked whether I had a job. You suggest I should change my youtube name. Brillitant rebuttals!!! If we cut open your head, we'd find a "FAIL" sticker on your brain.
What am I supposed to say to such nonsense? What point should I have addressed? Why would anyone reading your imbecilic responses think you were older than 12 years old? Does stupidity run in your family, or are you special?

How dreadful is the curse of Islam!
Besides the fanatical frenzy, there is always a death wish.
The poisonous effects of islam are everywhere and insecurity exist wherever muslims live.
In Islamic law every woman must belong to a man as his absolute property.
There will be mental, spiritual and physical slavery until Islam dies.
All Muslims know how to die and no stronger backward force exists in the world.
If true wisdom is not sheltered, true civilisation will fail.

If not, then apply the same standard to Muslims.

Wow.... just wow...

Look up Phyrric Victory - allow your enemy a win in the knowledge it isn't a win for them at all - quite the opposite.
sparkydaskworl 1 year ago
@sparkydaskworl That's where you are wrong. Moving it elsewhere will totally defuse the issue and no one will be against it if it is far away from Ground Zero. 76% of Americans support building mosques in their own cities. It shows that most Americans are tolerant of Islam, and the opposition is not based on racist hatemongering, but based on sensitivity. If their stated goal is truly outreach and understanding, then they should move. This is terrible PR and the polar opposite of outreach.
rate5not1 1 year ago
@rate5not1 I agree most moderate Americans have no real problem... what I'm talking about defusing is the sections of the media that make money from peddling hate to the stupid. It's a stream of poison that must be diffused first so those of an ill-educated, religious or elitist bent will have no-one to cheerlead their awful ideas. I also agree the people behind the CC are mis-stepping - my thought is they're deliberately provoking an even more unreasonable reaction. Job done. They should move.
sparkydaskworl 1 year ago
@sparkydaskworl Also, if their goal is truly outreach, then they should brush off accusations of bad faith and not engage in bad faith themselves. The mosque supporters are basically accusing the opposition of bad faith. There are legitimate reason to oppose the mosque based on sensitivity to victims of a national tragedy. Painting the opposition as racists, bigots and hatemongers is not a good starting point for outreach and greater interfaith and cross-cultural understanding.
rate5not1 1 year ago
@sparkydaskworl By engaging in accusations of bad faith, they arouse even greater suspicion.

The CG is bizarre, but sadly the issues are serious. It's clear that people would oppose the building of a mosque anywhere in Manhattan now, regardless of logic or reason. This kind of mindless hate is disgusting.

warmachine021 1 year ago 2
@oddblob99 Yes, it's not at ground zero, but saying that it's two blocks also understates the proximity. At this point, it's clear this Islamic center is meant to provoke and signal Islamic victory to other jihadists. Imam Rauf has been on record supporting 1) radical Islam 2) Wahhabism 3) Osama Bin Laden's use of terrorism and violence 4) terrorism as legitimate warfare 5) destruction of Israel to make way for one Palestinian state. It claims to heal, but it's intended to provoke.
longhornmed 1 year ago 2
@longhornmed Victory for Islamic extremists? Go talk to any terrorist and I guarantee that they really hate the Muslims building the mosque, and they want the mosque removed, as to them, the imam building it is a heretic for supporting ideas like FRIENDSHIP BETWEEN NORMAL AMERICANS AND MUSLIM AMERICANS. This is not a victory for terrorism. However, your fear of Islam is a TOTAL VICTORY FOR TERRORISM. (Just look up the goals of terrorism.)
starrodkirby 1 year ago
@starrodkirby Nice try. The Imam only pays lip service to friendship and outreach. Why not change course and build somewhere else when so many normal Americans oppose building it there if he is truly interested in outreach and friendship? 62% of New Yorkers oppose building the Islamic center there. Yet, 76% of Americans support building mosques in their own cities. This is a provocation by a radical Imam, funded by foreign proceeds from terrorism.

this is a start of a new racism era just liek what blacks went through! dont give em BS sensitive families excuse its been 10 years they should get over it.! thousands died in Iraq and Afghanistan no one is bitching about that hundreds die in Palestine
kallikusta 1 year ago
@kallikusta Again, 76% of Americans have no problems with new mosques in their own backyards figuratively speaking. 62% of New Yorkers oppose the GZM. So how is it racist to oppose a mosque that is so close to ground zero? 62% of New Yorkers are not racists. Lots of Muslim-friendly people and Muslims themselves don't want this mosque. You must live in a cave if you don't think people bitch about the deaths in Palestine, Iraq & Afghanistan.
longhornmed 1 year ago
@longhornmed
90% Americans opposed the black voting rights, so was that ok ?
lonovik 1 year ago
@lonovik The people opposed to the mosque aren't opposing it based on legal grounds, in fact, there is essentially no legal ground to oppose it. So this is not a matter of equal rights or freedom of religion. If the stated goal of the Islamic center is community outreach or mending fences or building bridges, they have failed miserably by insisting to build there.
longhornmed 1 year ago
@lonovik The statistics are not meant to show who is right and who is wrong, or whether this or that is ok or not. Please put on your critical thinking hat. If 76% of all Americans don't mind mosques being built in their own cities, while 62% of New Yorkers, who are supposed to be more liberal and more tolerant, oppose this Islamic center, how can you say the opposition to the mosque is somehow borne of bigotry and bad faith akin to less enlightened Americans opposing equal rights for blacks?

longhornmed 1 year ago
@longhornmed
" 69% of white evangelical christians "
only 15% of white evangelical Christians support Community center.

lonovik 1 year ago
@longhornmed And this is why we don't leave the civil rights of a minority to a majority vote, especially when christians are essentially waging their own holy war on the issue in response to islam's..
rujiel17 1 year ago

I am uploading a movie soon about that.
lonovik 1 year ago
@lonovik Try not to follow these so called leaders too closely, because no one is following them. How many New Yorkers even know of these "leaders" and if they know of them, how many actually ascribe to their beliefs? Don't you think it's kind of ironic? Muslims complain about being demonized. But their understanding of American style Christianity is basically propaganda and demonizations.
longhornmed 1 year ago

lonovik 1 year ago
@longhornmed then they are on the right track because american style christianity is basically propaganda and demonizations
Garrys300 1 year ago
@longhornmed Putting aside whether it's a mosque--most of those who oppose it are christian. Why else would they care? Why would a nonbeliever care whether it's a mosque or a church that is built? A nonbeliever would think each religion to be equally silly, and oppose neither especially. Christians get offended by the notion that mosques are built in tandem with conquest, and get caught up in a holy war of their own making. This is absolutely about civil rights--where and how one can worship.
rujiel17 1 year ago
@kallikusta If you think this is ok. Then maybe you would support western powers nuking Mecca and then building a church two blocks away.

rate5not1 1 year ago
@rate5not1
If they move than that is like accepting that Islam was the reason for 9/11, Its not, American policies were the reason , Go check Osama's video .
lonovik 1 year ago
@lonovik How do you even arrive at this conclusion? If they move, it's a gesture of good faith. They already stumbled by insisting to build there in the first place. Now that it's perceived as a provocation by a vast majority of New Yorkers and Americans in general, there is no way they will succeed in community outreach.
longhornmed 1 year ago
@longhornmed
Imam is doing right thing.
lonovik 1 year ago
@lonovik You sound like extremist yourself. Listen to yourself. "Nazi media" "Show them the real Islam" Nothing like issuing thinly veiled threats of terrorism about "sending their message to [the] west." longhornmed 1 year ago
@longhornmed
That is not Mosque, that is community center. There are hundreds of Mosques in New Yorks, there is Mosque in within 2 blocks of WTC. This is all propaganda which is causing so much controversy, other wise that Imam has good intentions and he should not listen to any one.

Don't support terrorism by hating Islam. Destroy terrorism by building and defending schools in Afghanistan, which we are doing right now. @starrodkirby Imam Rauf is a supporter of and apologist for Islamic terrorism. By supporting him and his mosque, you are supporting terrorism.

@braininahat "And the Muslim who rapes and then murders your children" HAHAHAHAHAHAHAH

@rujiel17 It's at least refreshing to see a Liberal publicly laughing about the deaths of 3,000 innocent people. You're doing at bang-up job at this humanity thing.
braininahat 1 year ago
@braininahat I'm laughing at the notion of a Muslim raping and killing anyone in my family when, in this country, it's statistically more likely by a factor of more than 100 to be done by a Christian, if at all. BTW, I totally missed the part about those guys raping people on the planes or maybe beforehand, please inform me on that.
rujiel17 1 year ago 2

Seriously, to tie this Islamic center to any act of Muslim fundamentalism is absurd.
particle409 1 year ago
@particle409 No, simpleton, what's absurd is to try to portray this as anything but a victory monument and an affront to Americans, especially to those whose loved ones were murdered that day. You should go read the Q'ran -- it's not a peaceful religion, by any means, and people who lie and say it is are lying about it...just as the Q'ran dictates they do. There is no misunderstanding the Q'ran. It's crystal clear. intolerantly and violently so.

@braininahat bahahahahahhahhahha after reading a bunch of comments ......I have decided to give you 1st place trophy for the stupidest

@Garrys300 Oh gee, I guess I've been refuted. Awesome comeback, dude. Now watch me totally refute everything you said: Uhm...I've decided that you're the stupidestest person who has ever lived.
Tuition for a good college education: $8,000/year
Price for a library card and some late fees: $25/year
The transparent rhetorical ploys of a Liberal: Priceless.
braininahat 1 year ago
@braininahat hmmm............ok you can still have your trophy ,because even though you attempt to be intelligent and educated, without your older sister dictating what you type you can't do shit for individual thought.and in case you are trying to be funny don't quit your day job......hmmm do you have a job? I wonder? you really should change your name to reflect who you really are.......maybe braininrectum ?
Garrys300 1 year ago
@Garrys300 You mentioned my sister. You said I can't do shit for individual thought. You asked whether I had a job. You suggest I should change my youtube name. Brillitant rebuttals!!! If we cut open your head, we'd find a "FAIL" sticker on your brain.
What am I supposed to say to such nonsense? What point should I have addressed? Why would anyone reading your imbecilic responses think you were older than 12 years old? Does stupidity run in your family, or are you special?
