  • Very nice I wonder if I can do this sort of upgrade for a Kia Optima SX since it uses a pretty similar engine.

  • HUNG AND DIE..

  • The poweraxel tune actually adds 40hp and around 70 torque. I think the genesis gets 190whp. Google it maybe?

  • Call (714)616-6666

  • @4PowerAXEL So how much whp and torque do you think you'd need to run medium 11's to high 10's in one of these things?

  • how much does this tune cost? where can i get it done?

  • After reflash, how's the mileage affected. Does cruising cost more gas after reflash?

Did you guys lean it out or something? I know turbo cars usually run rich to cool down the pistons.

  • nice added about 24 hp? and what about the warranty?

  • What is the wtq numbers and at what rpm? i take it this car just has the reflash, intake and exhaust? thanks

  • @Trollensteinowitz Why dont you just calm down with the caps. Just makes you like like your either stupid or just cant read.

  • i'm going to buy a genesis coupe soon i hope. my first car though.

  • @TheHeartBeatzz its my first car too i bought it about 3 months ago. you won't regret it, just be careful when you park its a bit too low

  • what happens to the manufacture warranty when tuning???

  • WHAT EXHAUST sounds so good

  • to ppl who are considering buying this car...genesis coupe 2.0t or 3.8; just wait till hyundai put forged internals instead of unforged ones. getting these cars now and then modifying it heavily will certainly blow the motors, but changing the internals cost too much. just wait till they come out with forged internal 2.0t and 3.8. Also, in a few years, it seems likely that they will put v-8 to this baby. now i'm talking 8+years, but still. woudln't mind driving a v-8 genesis coupe aroundmy town

  • @chickenpax1 they are already in the talks to making a limited run of mid engine v-8's for the genesis

  • did you up the boost and tuned a/f or just tuned a/f?

  • trollen is just angry from roids...maybe just drinking male pig urine in general...jesus...is there a gen video that he's NOT in? may God have mercy on his pathetic soul

  • Hey, thanks for noticing that man... Now go suck you dads dick... bye

  • ok look i may be wrong...but isnt the stock supposed to be like 280hp?

  • 2.0 t is 210 hp.

  • @Calviinh

New Hyundai 2011 Sonata will come with 2.0 GDI turbo that produces 274 hp with regular fuel. I hope Hyundai drop that engine in the new 2011 Genesis Coupe.

Guess what tuners can do to that honey.

  • so intake, exhaust and tune - 234whp - not bad

With reflash - uping boost 250whp is possible...after that need bigger turbo

  • @andbudzi

A REFLASH IS A TUNE YOU FUCKING RETARD!

GOD DAMNIT YOU KIDS ARE DUMB!

WHAT ELSE WOULD A REFLASH BE!?

  • Someone forgot to take his meds...

A reflash is not really a tune. You're overriding the map on the stock ECU with one that is already preconfigured. A tune is where a person hooks up their computer to the EMS and logs while making changes to the fuel and timing maps.

  • 234bhp or whp?

  • whp

  • dynomometers measure power at the wheels. bhp is flywheel horsepower.

  • I know that, just wasn't sure if you were trying to fluff your numbers or not.

Had the video been entitled 234.8whp I would have known.

  • Ok, i own a 2.0t and i love it... im just looking for upgrades... does anyone know if they sell headers for this car?

  • A turbo car does not have a "header". It has a manifold, turbo, downpipe, cat, exhaust. In the same order.

  • @starkiller8888 u need to take it to a shop and they'll tell you the best ways to modify it.

  • what mods were done to this car to get those numbers? i can tell there is a catback but what else? not bad at all for a car like that.

  • Just tuned with our reflash kit

  • holy crap that is awesome.

  • my only question is how strong is that motor

  • without internal change, stock max output suspect to be 320whp. With internal changed, current high power made 466hp

  • how much of the internals needed changing? was it just the con rods.? and if so the cost of a forged con rod upgrade?

  • Just forged piston and billet rods

piston need to be customized taking 3 weeks in general from any maker like JE, CP, Arias, Ross etc cost $700 or less, but they may need stock sample. Manley has stock compression forged piston, but we need 8.5:1 compression. Since they already have made, customize compression will not be difficult. For con rods, Pauter and Manley carry them somwhere $800 range.

  • Geez that sounded like more than 6500rpms what did he rev to?

  • 6,800rpm in general. Some rev move to 7,200rpm and totally removed for race application.

  • not too shabby

  • DAMN the sound is sooo CooL

    I LOVE this car :)

  • i just bought a 2.0T, live in Nova Scotia, how can i get access to this poweraxel upgrade?

  • i wish these cars put out more power... they both look and sound nice

  • Max with 7ism upgrade made 320hp and GT35R was 466hp tuned by dealer.

  • nice that is what i am talking about mid 4xx and up is power that should be put down by these cars :)

  • This car had cat delete and catback only, so base map was 207hp

  • what else has been done to the car other than a tune?

  • PowerX ecu tuning

  • i meant like.. modifications wise.. not counting the tune :P
