When I was playing "Mafia", I didn't notice this first-aid kit near the stairs and I passed the last checkpoint with 1% health! I had no chance against Sam and I had to go back down the stairs and use the kit, then go up and then I could finally start fighting Sam. And anytime I died, I had to go through it over and over again. :(

This is one of my favourite missions. Too bad I don't have it installed...can't find disc 1 :(

And, this mission is pretty easy if you know where the enemies are located.

This attempt went better then some of the earlier ones you didn't get to see. There were a few times I didn't even make it out of the first room you start in. Somtimes the enemies do different things too, for better or worse.

one question why dont you crouch more?

in most games you get better accuracy if you crouch isn't it so in this case to ?

I was playin on the PC version, and using the keyboard commands. It was kinda hard to move and crouch at the same time. I guess I coulda gone into the options and changed the key thats used for crouch, but it only mattered in a few situations, and I got through them alright.

@uberwolf420 just for kicks, you should uplaod (if you still have them) like a 10 minute video of your failures. 10 minutes of crashing, being shot in the face, blown up, beaten to death. that would be epic. put it to benny hill music too XD

it's not the ammos that's the problem, it's the life that i have is too little after a while, the farthest i can get to is at 2:42, then always got kill by the 2 guys with the thompson.

anyway, i pull it off last night with the trainer, hehe

the bullet shells hitting the floor and making that "ping" sound is a nice detail but it can be very annoying i think

Actually, the first time I played Mafia and I didn't know I had to get a lot of guns/ammo, it wasn't so bad because I killed all the guys in the first room and then I collected all of their guns and at the end I had a fully-loaded Thompson. :)

I think, your supposed to do it that way, but it lets you do the gun shop if you need help. I can get past the first room, but on the second part after the second cutscene with Sam, I always get wasted on the stairs there. I'v gotten that tommy gun before, but it was only half loaded, and I almost always ran out of ammo, before killing another guy with a thompson.
