you need mini dv's, i special ordered it from sony to a dealer in my city, i worked and saved money to buy it. its sick for skating and perfect for snowboarding, if your serious filmer i highly recommmend it, but you do have to study the camera's user manuel

yes it does. thats the one I bought for this camera, i'd recommend you buy it off amazon because its rlly cheap like $250. but you have to buy a seperate lens cap for it for like $25

there's an opteka .3x fisheye thats base is 60mm without adapters. The FX7 has a 60mm filter size so you don't need to by any converters. You hav to look up opteka 60mm .3x fisheye cuz not just any opteka lens will fit on this camera

its a really good camera, 2 of the best or preffetional cameras r this serries of sony and the cannon xl1 and xl2 but the xl2 camera is about $4000, this is also used by pros 2, it really depepnds on what ur looking for and dooing like skate bording and stuff, this is good but if your advanced and making short videos or indy films the xl2 is better.
