  • Great catch, not a bad sounding K3LA either.

  • I LOVE THAT SCENE WHERE THE AMTRAK TRAIN WAS FROM

  • Great Video! I like the horn of 4054!

  • That engine is leased to the IORY. The Indiana & Ohio Railway.

  • I love the echos of that first train. The anticipation just builds each time you hear it.

  • Great video! I couldn't help but notice that the ditch lights didn't flash when the horn was used. They used to when the 4054 was on the NYS&W. Any idea on the reason for the change?

  • @JerseyGTO I know your comment is a year old, but as far as I know Susquehanna's engines ditch lights NEVER flash. None of the SD40T-2's SD45's or SD40-2's have flashing lights. Same deal with the SD70M's.

  • The sound of the train approaching was awesome! The train was awesome, too!!

  • At 1:16, it sounds like there was someone trying to jump the tracks or something.

  • I Agree With You There, There Are Tons Of Crossings In The Area.

  • NICE!

  • Was that 1st crossing using a teardrop bell by any chance? It really sounded like one.

  • Sad to see I missed this, but thanks for posting!

  • Cory, awesome catch. As an NYS&W follower it has been many years since we have seen the SD70s on our home rails. Some people I know who have recently gotten into the hobby have never seen them. Awesome catch and I'm glad they still sport the NYS&W color scheme!

Send them back home!! I need them for my latest DVD volume! :(

    Awesome! *****

  • i herard ruomours of some NYSW locomtives on the south end of the yard

  • I remember seeing the 4054 plus the 4050 and the 4051 in the Palmer yard in April!

  • Actually the three engines are #4054, #4050, and #4052. The NYS&W has no odd numbered modern power; they used even engine numbers to indicate engines with MU capabilities.

  • Oh okay I don't know why I thought it was 4051.

  • Lovely autumn (or should I say Fall?!) colours!

  • That's a neat unit!

Are you going to the Brian Solomon presentation on the 22nd in West Brookfield?

  • Nice There you go SD70 power!!!!!!!!!!!! 5 stars for you pal

  • I can see they are adding gates to the crossing lights. Gread video, COry thanks for sharing

  • Another 10 star winner!
