Ok, so he hasn't won a major in a while, but he's still a regular at the semis (and a few quarters here and there) - so he's still got it. I really really hope he wins his 17th tournament at Wimbeldon this year. Better yet, at Roland Garros against Nadal would be nice too. I probably wouldn't be a tennis fan if it wasn't for this guy. (oh, and P.S. this is hardly HD!)

federer, in my opinion, is much more graceful and fluent in his movements then nadal. he prefers to use more control and skill, rather than nadal's power shots. thats why i like federer better.

Federer is not the best ever. He is a base liner and his volley is not as good as say edberg or becker or laver or rosewall or ashe or hoad or Gonzales or Kramer or McEnroe. His serve is a little above medium and is not as good as the ones I have mentioned before. He is now losing to better base liners like nadal and Novak. He is not as good as borg from the base line. Let us hope a good net rusher will come on the world scene and show the vulnerability of the base liners.

It's amazing that as mentally draining and oppressive the ATP tour is, especially when you're going deep into every tournament, that Federer isn't some tennis robot. He somehow endures even though he seems very emotionally and intellectually aware of everything. It's not like he has to wait until he's 45 and retired to understand what he's doing, he seems fully aware of how he's rewriting history as he's doing it. Incredible champion. Exceptional, almost scary human being.
