Before Bobo, the Heavenlys had Gospel Jim Bryant on bass, but he left and joined the Dixie Hummingbirds. Then he left the 'Birds, and shortly after that, Bobo followed him over from the Heavenlys. We all know how great the Hummingbirds came to be, but it's a shame that this equally wonderful groups has been mostly forgotten.
