  • You have great feeling when you play. This one is added to my favourites at this moment :)

  • Sounds great! Where did you learn to play the bouzouki?

  • @j4allen

It's actually an octave mandolin (made by Fylde). My dad taught me to play when I was 10 year´s old.

I do play bouzouki too . . . check out the St.Pat's video I just put in my favourites.

    Cheers, Sean

  • @StanMcLarsen

Ah they do look alike. Nice playing though!

I got a bouzouki myself last month, still learning to play it.

  • Not a word of a lie. This recording made me jump up and dance. Well played, very well played.

  • Howdy. Great video and playin. in an attempt to steal your idea, i am trying to figure out Imove, but i cant figure out how to get all the sounds to overlap. are you using a different program?

  • @DickDallyThe3rd

I use Audacity - it's a free Studio package that is easily downlaodable from Sourceforge

  • Seriously good music,if you close you're eyes you'd swear you were in Galway Bay.

    Very Well Done!

  • More please!

  • super cool. This is my 5th time listening already

  • I look up this video several times a month just to hear this tune. I had to sign up with youtube just to tell you what a great job you did with this jig. It lifts my spirits every time I hear it. Good Job!

  • Thanks for the comments - I'm glad you like it. It's good to know my music passes my own test - if it lifts me (no easy task as you can see, lol) then it's made of the right stuff.

  • Wow. Excellent rendition and great job of mixing and producing the video.

  • Ganz fantastisch! Eine wahre Freude, Dich musizieren zu hören :) Ich hoffe nach wie vor auf neue Videos von dir.

  • Glorious! Is that an octave mando you're playing?

  • (and where can I find some of the sheet music, chords, or tabs you play?)

  • @LordWolfgaar have u got an email address, i'll send u a whole book of sheet music (pdf) for irish trad music

  • Yes, it is a Fylde OM. I don't use the dots much myself and never tab. But you can find this in Mally's 100 Essential Irish Session Tunes. He has several books - all are great collections.

I use Audacity software to record. It is a free, downloadable, multitrack studio package. Give it a go - it's great fun.
