  • is there a baby @ 1: 39 ... just listen

  • your title for this video is wrong it should be muay thai fighter practicing his hand work. lol. and for the muay thai fighters relax your sport is great you got awsome elbows knees and kicks but your hands arent the greatest cleary this guy is practicing. if he was kicking kneeing and elbowing, then that boxer wouldnt last 2 minutes. no offense to the that boxer but once you take a kick from a muay thai fighter then you realize that boxing is one small form of martial art lol.

  • I read the title as "Boxer vs Muay Thai". I assumed, that it is a boxer, facing a Muay Thai fighter. To me, it does not imply, that they will each use their techniques. To me, although, one is a boxer, the other a Muay Thai fighter, they are practicing their boxing techniques, respectively. "Boxing vs Muay Thai", I would understand, as style vs style.

  • This is a joke ? ? ? ? ? one of you to come and have sparring with me ... I ' am training kickbox ... but this is fucking joke i dont see any teching of kicking ... This is street fight ?

  • MT dont spar in headhelmets... most people will disagree coz they do spar with helmets on and probs with shin pads as well, but if you want to be a MT fighter, you must learn to take punches and kicks coz if you go in fight where you have no shinpads then your leg is broke after the first kick.. same with helmets and punches.. you dont know what pain is, you get knocked out... simple.. and even if you only teach him boxing then why the fuck do you dodge that much? MT does counters and dont quit

  • lol definitely not one thing muay thai in the clip not a single kick knee elblow nothing just weak bland boxing. they never even took a stance conducive to throwing a kick

  • wow i train from 6;30 am to 8;pm muay thai spar one or twice at leatst 5 to ten rounds and fighjt every saturday 4 the last 2 monthes and have never eva lost lol

  • Boxer v. Boxer wearing muay thai shorts.

  • they both sux ahahha they cant even boxing.

  • pussssy

  • Is that a fart at 1:11?

  • no muay thai at all!

  • thats not even good muay thai he sucks...hes basically fighting boxing with thai shorts on

  • unfair the mt is fitter and quicker and the boxer is a bad puncher.

    im just sayin

  • training to janet jackson hahahahahaha.

  • Boxing owns hant to hand but MT is more complete you use handes, knees, elbows, feets and shanks. But the best is to TRAIN BOTH OF THEN and so become a more compelte figther.

Btw If anyone is interested in Training boxing or muay thai with a former champ in both styles in Rio de Janeiro as well as interested in invest in some figthing event here in Rio/Brazil, please take a look at my chanel as well as at my blog.

  • this should be re-titled ' a muay thai fighter beating boxer at his own game'

  • there is nothing like muay thai shown in this vid, thats just simple boxing... Muay Thai is kickin, boxin and stranglin in one, not only movin your arms and say: "I am a Muay Thai fighter"...

  • stranglin LOL!

  • wtf...what happen to the boxer? cant even take a body shot...WEAK!! this place needs better trainers..they need to work on abdominal and cardio training.

  • MT dude drops his right everytime he comes in with jabs, unwise!

  • never box a boxer lol

  • Wat the hell is this, wat was the point in puttin boxing vs muay thai, when there both just boxing.... kicking, kneeing and elbows are important in muay thai and with out them its just boxing.

  • haha at the end..wtf?

  • theres no muay thai in it. if you call that muay thai, then its not. more like boxing i'd say. if you still insist, then its kickboxing. never muay thai.

  • hey guys its a BOXER VS A MUAY THAI FIGHTER !!!!!!

  • @gunn112 hey, guys. They both suck.

  • @oolas27 Muay thai refers to the style of the practitioner. Thsi is just boxing practice!!!

  • they should rename this "Boxer vs. Muay Thai fighter who has been stripped of 6 weapons"

  • The purpose of this is to only use boxing . to make your hands better. thats like throwing a punch in BJJ

  • you should have included in your description or title that this was under boxing rules. i'm like, why isnt the MT fighter throwing light kicks in the sparring session?

  • @irritatedpsycho Lol It's funny how sensitive Muay Thai people are about the status of their art!

    xD

  • anyone can help me here cuz i wanna go into muay thai im a boxer nd been a oxer for like a year nd a half now so im pretty good wit my hands do they still stress the need of al the head weaving nd boping nd angleing out(anyopne who went to a boxing school would understand me) but yeah do they strees it as much in mauy thai?

  • I don't know much about either but I would say they don't stress head movement in muay thai cause of head kicks !! when U bob ur head he will fake a punch and thrw a kick which will end ur day pretty quick !!!

  • They sometimes do very tight bob and weave but have to watch out for knee.

  • head movement, yes

if you bob and weave, you get kneed in the face:)

  • I have seen many excellent Muay Thai fighters come out of a boxing background. Couldn't answer your question in general though. Find a good teacher in your area.

  • yes head movement in muay thai is as important as everything else

  • Depends on the trainer. Some styles are more straightforward and some are more angular and more footwork.

  • Its not that Thai boxers have bad hands, its just that they dont really always need to use punches that much, or they choose not to. Dont get me wrong, Thai boxing has knockouts due to punches all the time, but they stick to using their kicks and knees a lot more than punches since they cause more damage.Dont forget about those elbows, if theres a chance to trade punches, the Thai fighter will always prefer to close distance and clinch up, so the punches have no effect and instead elbow and knee

  • i would like to see the muay thai guy use som kicks haha, it would be too easy for him tough

  • Not really, doing a kick leaves the boxer open to get in, hit and return, and 1 hit could knock the opponent over due to the fact, being on one leg can make you lose your balance.

  • Keep training that Thai boxer like that and with those boxing skills and he'll go far, his boxing is pritty good for a Thai boxer.

Good sparring session, just ry and not over train I know how easy of a mistake it his to make if you get into the mood but it can be very dangerous.

  • ' Fighters no matter what style no when to say when'

either apparently not or your not a fighter

    HA HA

ps at 0:45 some one fart

  • Whatever dude you cant say he isnt a fighter. He just probably got excited and wanted to train more. It happens.

But yeah at :45 it does sound like someone farted! Then again at 1:15 haha!

  • again (this is what the trainer said) '' Fighters no matter what style no when to say when'

  • Actually that sound is the voice of a baby or little kid I think.

  • lol, fart on!!

  • da guy in the blue trunks looks okay not da best but still... just keep training and youll be alright

  • nothing kicks of it ginocchiate and push with the elbow, don't change even title fairies alone boxe,

  • " Looks like 2 boxers to me. Science of 8 weapons? "

    agreed

  • This sparring session was used to train his boxing alone so he wasn't suppose to use his kicks. From what i've seen the area most Thai boxers need to work on is their punching which is what is happening.

  • good sparring!

  • why no kicks from the MT guy? Looks like hes fighting as a boxer... Also hes doing alot of ducking for a MT fighter (since in MT, when you duck, you eat a leg or a knee).

  • im teaching and sparring in boxing

  • this is totally true man hahaha a MT fighter ducks like no time eating a knee is horrible i have experience ducking on a rated match and = a lose from my part. the cool thing is a i learned to never ever duck again ( or atleast not on close combat)

For the other thing is funny as hell against a boxer which i have had, on street fighting is as EZ as 1 or 2 front kicks to the front knee and a rear knee to the chin with clinch strength= a KO and to the head kicking ;) @trutommo

  • i dont know about 4 hours in a row, but I do 4 hours with 2 or 3 ten minute breaks its not so bad

  • if you ever want some sparring come to Broadway.

  • Looks like 2 boxers to me. Science of 8 weapons?
