Well, when you take off the "cats" you lose back pressure. I think the x pipe will hook u up with a little more lost torque. With flowmasters I think an h pipe sounds sick. It just depends on the sound your going for with an h and x pipe. H pipes tend to have droned bassie exhaust note and x pipes give you that raspy ronchie sound. I like the raspy sound better lol. I like the way h pipes sound on the old 5.0 though. Make sure you get a descent pair of MIL eliminators if you take off tg

hey I have an 01 mustang gt AUTOMATIC and I'm thinking about buying some pypes offroad x pipe or some kind of offroad x pipe for it, are the x pipes compatable with automatic transmissions or just manuel?

@07Z06ss I know for a fact the Headers are different for standards and automatic and it would just depend on the mounts coming off the headers because they may be in a different positions. When you order the "X" pipe if the part numbers are different for the auto and standard trans it should ask you which trans you have when you order. Make sure you buy name brand MIL eliminators too. I bought some cheap ones and they didnt work... The BBK MIL eliminators wk really well

I would definately go with Borla over Flows. But thats one of the best sounding mustangs with flows on it. I hate flows but yours sounds nice. But Borla sounds 100 times better in my opinion.

I agree SLP sounds like garbage, but I don't know who lied to you but SLP owned by GM....they make packages for alot of GM cars but that's about all, it isn't owned by GM

BBK U.D.P's, Richmond 3.90's, Summit 75mm throttle body, Trick Flow Plenum, Flowmaster Super 44's, DiabloSport Tune, S&B Cold Air Intake, and Hurst Short Shifter. Those wheels are fuckin bad, thats what im missing. How much did u get them for.
