Tribute to John Spencer - The West Wing

One of the best actors in a generation. I call him a "face" actor, meaning that everything he had to portray was immediately obvious though his facial expressions. Martin Sheen is one too. These guys show how it shoud be really done. God, we miss you John!

The only thing missing was the closing.... "Do you have a best friend?" SECAG says, "Yes". "Is he smarter than you?" SECAG says, "Yes he is" with a laugh. "Thats your chief of staff". Very nicely done though.

absolutely first rate job of splicing this all together. And I agree with the others... you couldn't have found a better song to do it with. There are SO many good John Spencer moments on West Wing... I'd be hard pressed to find better ones. Probably one of my favorite scenes is in the 2nd episode, where Pres. Barlett says he's gonna beat Leo with a baseball bat, and their joyous laughter afterwards!

This is an especially moving piece of work, and it mustn't have been easy to capture Leo McGarry -- and John Spencer -- so well. I was lucky enough to spend a couple of hours with John Spencer in 2000 at AIDS Walk LA. He was a stalwart supporter of AIDS Project Los Angeles and he walked the whole route each year, falling in with me and my group that year just by chance. What a remarkable, optimistic, passionate and vibrant man he was! He died far too soon.

Gosh, that is amazing! I loved it, especially the end. I won't give it away, but just classic... I wish we had seen more of leo's "smiles." I can't explain what they are... but they're great. Really special video though. I adored it.
