I was just stating facts about the low probability of female-male transmission, not proposing any government policy regarding homosexuals. I certainly don't agree with persecution, since that seems to result in gay men marrying women to hide their condition, thus transmitting the virus to the female population.

@quemacha Do you have any proof of gay or bisexual men being a significant factor in new infection cases among women? Drug use and unprotected heterosexual intercourse are still the leading causes of infections among women according to the CDC.

@quemacha Given the enormous number of females who are infected, it would mean that they 'mostly' have sex with gay and bisexual men...even though gay and bisexual men account for a tiny percent of the overall population...so...the few bisexual and gay males that exist...must be having sex with scores of females.

There may be a small percentage of bi and gay men, but there are also men who contract HIV from being homosexually raped in prison. If they were not inclined to be gay in the first place, those men will be having sex with women - maybe many women to regain their sense of masculinity - once released. So possibly that is a factor as well.

@quemacha Even still, that would have to mean that 'most' black men who enter prison, get raped by not just any bisexual or gay inmate, but one who is HIV+. The numbers just don't add up. The solution to what you percieve to be a problem, can only be putting an end to the negative image we staple to the concept of 'male homosexuality', and getting women to actually 'stop having wanton raw sex'.

A true DL man would have already watched this video to be sure he stays ahead of the game. Women who are not willing to disclose how many times THEY had a raw penis inside them, should not demand the same from anyone else. It is crazy for ANYONE to have unprotected sex in the first place. If people want to avoid STDs and HIV, they can simply stop having sex.

@Darkbison7 Realistically, people would stop having sex. But i they're having sex than they need to wear a latex. I would suggest getting tested before they toss the condoms aside. The bottom line is that both people are responsible for their sexual behaviors and deserve to be honest with each other. That's why I am monogamous and so is my partner.

i agree anybody who is living a double life is on the DL. What makes it worse in this case is alot of DL men get together and just have sex with each other my cousin is gay not on the DL love him dearly but he tells me that these men have sex parties. can you imagine how many men they sleep with not just one many many men and then go back home to their wives and expose them to whatever they have done with these men and put her at risk. now that is just wrong.
