When all melee, here's a trick: have tank run in, grab aggro on boss only, and run back up the stairs. Meanwhile, the dps is engaging the Chief (melee guy). When the boss is up the stairs and partly in the hallway, the healer stays down and trades heals between the tank and the dps. The boss won't shoot his explosive rounds while this is going on, because he has no other targets than the tank. Burn the melee, burn the healer, gang-bang the boss. Profit.

@Reaperbeta1337 lol yup. we did many attempts on this fight and in the end just skip this fight whenever we doing boarding party HM. Wasnt worth the repair costs lol

what we did was aggro each enemy away from the medic while the heal kept the 2 tanks alive. it worked well :)

You guys had a problem with it not eing able to loot at the end boss?

@DadaBRZ oh ya. there are two theories on this 1. if you wipe on this encounter there is no loot 2. you need to kill commander first with shield guy up to get loot.

@Dulfycleric For sure. We went in, surveyed the mobs' buffs and decided to kill healer, security guy, then boss when his deflection shield went off. Then wiped about 3-4 times and switched up the order. Died some more. Then we went back to healer, security, boss with medpacks and made a bit more progress. Finally i tried to zone back in like you guys. :P
