it has gotten worse...there isn't any video that goes by that they don't represent sex, money and power. it doesn't matter if the singer is a female or male...they both represent the same thing : men and women using each other and becoming animals....poverty,drugs, lack of education, and unemployment rates going up is all because of what the viewers see on tv. its sad....it really is...

As a man i think that alot of the disrespect and abuse of women by men is due to the desensitization of males by the media. When you are constantly bombarded by images of booty shaking girls and supermodels you start to view women as objects and not as people and also develop an unrealistic expectation of how women should look. it makes me feel sad that children's minds are polluted with this imagery and their innocence is stolen away.

Actually, there is now a Dreamworlds 3. I've seen Dreamworlds 2 during my women's studies class, and it's really dated. Unfortunately, music videos have gotten much worse since then...

me either! I saw the full length video. It was so disturbing because now I feel ashamed to be a man and sorry that women go through all of that! Though its just like racism because the more women back down, the more they give into that self fullfilling prophecy. It's crippled the relationship between men and women and taken a turn for the worst. While some men continue to be desensitized by women's bodies it just brings out the worst in our culture!
