something called GCW zones where u fight for a specific city say Bestine or Dearic its quite awesome you can get some cool stuff for doing it :) And a ton of other stuff but i dont wanna spoil out too much :P

@Loliaz I downloaded the trial and while I don't remember what server I was playing, the only active planet was Tatooine and everybody was clusted in Mos Eisley. If you went elsewhere, it was usually devoid of players.

i thinks its pretty boring, this game.... the fun starts only when you rise your player..i play on my friends account because he is high level and thats pretty fun,i mean you have a superawesome starship and you have almost everything. if you are low level,its boring you need to fight boring plants and monsters... they should add more features in it. and then it would be better than any mmorpg

It certainly looks impressive when it isn't the random yellow number spewing typical MMO mess that SWG is. I wouldn't really call it a bad MMO, it's just that it's another MMO. Typical lame "spam hotkeys" gameplay, and numbers/statistics taking precedence over any true knowledge or skill. Make a Star Wars MMO/RPG with gameplay in the vein of Mass Effect or Darkfall and maybe I'd give a damn.

The universe of Star Wars doesn't benefit from this lame, typical RPG "my numbers vs your numbers" balancing. Look at every successful Star Wars game and you'll see that they're much more action-oriented.

In many ways,SWG still offers the best gameplay.

I am still a fan of the old ways,but it is the past.The crafting,housing and so on,is still unmatched in SWG.And it is big.

The only thing I would really like,is a dedicated RP server...since I am a roleplayer all in all.*smirks*

The game itself isnt made for players 18+. Actually, it's mostly children -16 on SWG. What is considered rated for an age of 18+ is the fact that it is online and has a toggleable profanity filter--- and there IS a lot of profanity.

the town is on dathomir but theres a guy in mos eisly space port who will fly you there for 2500 c if you meet the requirements i think you need clvl 70 or 75

and to actually stand a chance in hoth you need a group of 8 people

At one point SWG had the potential to be the best MMO ever, by a wide margain, the Devs however, never folllowed through with their plans, and completly overhauled the game and all the mechanics 2 times, each time trying to become more and more like wow, rather than trying to improve their game they made it terrible, and after almost 2 years on the market the game was in complete shambles, and played like beta due to all the overhauls. SWG is a textbook example of what not to do.

Yeah..they introduced an Expertise system (Kinda like the old skill trees), brought back Creature Handler (bit different though, its Beast Master and you genetically engineer the pets), they've made efforts to bring back trading by adding more items, which other player traders say have helped, instances like assaulting a Star Destroyer and this one and balancing the professions out a bit more has greatly helped the game, also the server transfers have created a few 'Very Heavy+' servers.

I'll never understand how they make the instance look way better than it actually is. They need to increase the AT-AT health on Imp side and increase fire power of the lasers on the snowspeeders on the rebels side. And the amount of imperials that spawn on phase 2 are insane. Not to mention the horrible lag

Instances are basicaly some of the hardest quests in the game which makes you go through certian areas and levels filled with high leved elites and at the end is usualy an iconic hero boss fight such as IG-88 or the Nightsister Queen. Except in Hoth where there really isn't a final boss.
