This is one of my favorites songs being A clarinetist myself. Thanks for sharing this rare recording. I found another refined version of this song without the humming bassist on the chronology compilation Benny Goodman and his orchestra 1944-1945.

Playing collectible records on a steel-needled phonograph is just so stupid and masturbatory, especially when there are terrific CD transfers of this material.
i have lots of 78's and a turntable that plays them, but not a Real Gramophone like this. But with your videos, maybe I don't have to get a real one! thank you for posting!
great! benny is one of my favourite swing artists and possibly most wondarfully sounding. i like that 1938 HMV, i see its in very good condition...was it restored or just well cared for? thanks for the post, great music...
