  • One of my all-time favorite BG sextet records - Slam Stewart drives the group along with this odd slap/shuffling rhythm that you don't hear on any of his other records w/ the group, or the V-Disc version from '44 that had Sid Weiss as bassist. The piano is Wilson by the way, not Powell...

  • This is one of my favorites songs being A clarinetist myself. Thanks for sharing this rare recording. I found another refined version of this song without the humming bassist on the chronology compilation Benny Goodman and his orchestra 1944-1945.
