Numark TT500 Review

I have a TT500 and a TTX. My TT500 goes through pitch faders like nothing. Has a problem recognizing zero after a while (no misuse, excellent care). I wish I had just saved a little more so I could have two TTXs.

Hi, im just looking at buying these now but was wondering whether they have decent cooling, i heard problems about the ttx released around the same time as these, but wasnt sure if these have the same heatsink issues as the ttx, can some one please assist me in confirming whether there is an over heating issue?

I have a choice of getting the TT500 and the TTX for the same price - I am not a DJ, but only using it to play vintage records! How is the build quality between TT 500 and TTX? are they exactly the same build, except TTX has the digital add on?? Many Thanks

I think these turntables are the best....cuz if you see they can be way better then technics turntables...numark turntables got more affects with in the turntables

Terrible tonearm and platter set up. The early ones used to burn the motor out, hope they addressed that problem at least.

packages dont come w/ these i believe. if u buy a tt200 n a tt500 u get a needle from numark. this deal is until 12-31-09 i got a numark dxm06 which i got last xmas used on ebay for like $70. nice little mixer w/ 8 effects i believe. 4 inputs. i'm lookn at either new tables (one juz died), n a soundcard so i can get serato version 2 vinyl discs n use a program like cue, traktor 3, or virtual dj 6.

I have the tt500 and the 45rpm function just died on me. Kinda bad since I mix drum and bass. I had these for 3 years now and beside this problem, I still think there good turntable (for the price!!)

one of my tt1520 just died n it was ten years old (i believe) another one still works. heard these w/ the torque if u mess w/ it alot the motor goes. but expectd for those hardcore turntablist.

I think they are the same.

The tt500 can be compared to the Numark TTX because it has the exact same motor!

The Numark TTX is VERY IDEAL for scratching, if you do not know what this turntable is.

However, the Stanton t.120 is stanton's best model, with the most torque that stanton can offer.

ITS THE SAME ITS JUST THE TORQ OF THIS MODEL IS A LIL BIT BETTER LIKe TECHNICS 1200 AND A LIL BIT OF SPEED IMPROVEMENT FOR THE PITCH BEND LIKE 50% Ive been using the TT200 for almost 3 years now and its still like brand new the torq is still running good

i like these as much as the 1200's. I love the pitch ranges so you can mix some crazy shit. Super high torque, i think its the same as the ttx but for a couple hundred dollars cheaper. I recommend this tt for anyone who djs.

@DrealityJ How accurate is the pitch fader, How does it hold up while mixing? Because I have a pair of TT-200 and the pitch fader on mine is a little wonkey. I was thinking of upgrading to TT-500 but if they arent more accurate than the TT-200 i might just get some techs and cut out the hassle.
