@Darthjamek Actually Padme was 14 when Anakin was 9 in 'Phantom'. So In AOTC Padme would have been 24 and Anakin 19 when they married. Not exactly a massive age gap...

@windstrider83 how? Anakin/Vader is the tragic hero. Loses everything in Episode 3 (his wife, he turns to the Sith and alienates himself from the Jedi, his body, himself) and gains it back with Luke's help when he defeats Sidious. Obi Wan was a protagonist throughout the whole saga, Anakin/Vader served as both a protagonist and antagonist

Lucas did that a lot with names, for example Yoda means "warrior" in one culture as well as "one who knows" in another. I'm the same way when I play games I like to get names with meaning.
