@bigragu he was but they must have called that one off because cotto would have went up a weight so this way he gets to stay at 147lbs but i'm not sure why it's been called off but to be honest. yeah saul alvarez and cotto is definately next june 5th so i think you got to start studying this boy so you can put him up next as your perspective prospect :)

Theres a video of him sparring with Shawn Porter and giving him a boxing lesson and Freddy Roach says he is dead even in sparring with Amir Khan. He is a 7 times national champion and current golden gloves champ at 140. Hottest prospect on the planet dude. Check it out

i like his movement and timing, but yes, those loose hands are a big problem

lol, bigragu, true alot of people are to focused on khan losing to prescott, Khan has come along alot since then and he has power to with his speed and freddie doin a great job with him, kell prob wil prob be a world champ in a few years but i guess we still have to see. Boxngrec have him ranked 5th in the world, umm a bit high prob topo 20 but defo not top 5.

Nice idea for the segment, I liked it.

Maybe worth mentioning that his last four fights seem to have been a bit of a step up, and he pulled out four stoppages, all within 6. I agree on the general quality of opponent being low, but I think he's sensibly taking a slower route to the top than Khan, because he didn't have the same amateur pedigree and exposure. Maybe we'll see him look for the European title next, as I don't like his chances against the current WW champions.

Bigragu, you're awesome, and I appreciate your love for the british fighters. btw if you care, should check out Anthony Small/Sam Webb, exciting fight when it happened and the fight started so boring then the best thing livened it up, the cut. As much as I hate the cut ruining fight, it also really does help a fight.

Brook shoulda fought Cotto when Jennings had the chance, he wouldn't have won though, he would of been Witter when he fought Judah.

a prospect in boxing is a weird thing. its hard to judge them becasue they get babied all the way thru theyre 25th fight now.

i wish boxing wasnt so fickle and would accept a loss or two on an up and comer.

Another really good up and coming prospect is the welsh man Nathan Cleverley, this boy has recently just won the European Light Heavyweight title.He is improving all the time and his punch power is improving! He was also a former sparring partner of Joe Calzaghe and I know how much you like Calzaghe, which can be nothing but a help to spar with someone of that quality.

We in Britain are producing some really good fighters at this moment in time Haye,Froch,Khan,Mitchell,and Cleverley is next.
