Helios is the roman god of fire, light and sun and Apollo is the greek god for fire. light and sun

Not that I want to make another point of it. But that god with all those spikes ''is'' Hades. If you reach: The Garden of the Gods' in GOW2, you'll see 6 statues of the gods: Ares, Athena, Zeus, Poseidon, Helios and on the last statue stands: Lord Hades, God of the Underworld. And that's the god with all those spikes in his body.

yea this one in the video is hades, im not into video games but i did have god of war 2 and i study greek mytholigy at college, the dude you are talking about was hephaestus, he was a metal worker for the gods and achilies. he is the one with the mask on because he was the only god on olympus that was called ugly. posiden zues and all of them cast him out of olympus, just google hephaestus and look at the art work and compare it to the guy in gow2. but this is hades in the video

thanks for the info about hephaestus, didn't know that he worked for achillies as well. but regardless, in the room where there are the statues of the gods, the god with the chains and spikes and mask is identified as hades in the game.

hey man actually you could be right. my friend has the game and he knows alot more about mytholigy than i do, he said that the game depicts him as ugly, and the guy with the spikes on his back, but in real mytholigy hades wasnt even called ugly hephaestus was tho and he was the only one... i thought the game was sticking to that discription, but it looks like hades is fat and has spikes, i just thought it was hephaestus from what ive learned in school...i think you are right, my bad man
