We've already had our share of injuries this season. We also beat the Wings, with Kane and Hossa out of our lineup. And you can try to sell the Wings, being the best in the west, as much as you want. But if you look at having the best balance, in all areas, the Canucks are the best. As much as i hate the Canucks, i still say their the best in west. And assuming the Hawks do make the playoffs, try not to take it too hard.

Wrong He did earn it his role with the hawks is a bit different than with the Pens or Wings. His role with the hawks is a bit more defense than his usual offensive roles with Pittsburgh and Detroit. The whole team carried the Blackhawks to victory in all their series, not just one player and one player carrying the team is an unnecessary way it to win because it shifts the attention from the whole team to that one player.

The winning goal in game 7 was scored on a mistake because Osgood was obviously out of position when he tried to predict where Talbot was trying to shoot and If it wasn't for Fleury Detroit would have won the series in game 5.

@Chitown2701 I hate the Hawks more FYI. The Wings have probably their best player injured, Datsyuk. Mike Modano is out for the rest of the season I think. Patrick Eaves, Brad Stuart, and Daniel Cleary are also injured. If they all come back besides Modano, and the Red Wings don't get major injuries, they will win the Cup. On the other hand I don't know what the Hawks will do if they get major injuries.

Wrong He did earn it his role with the hawks is a bit different than with the Pens or Wings. His role with the hawks is a bit more defense than his usual offensive roles with Pittsburgh and Detroit. The whole team carried the Blackhawks to victory in all their series, not just one player and one player carrying the team is an unnecessary way it to win because it shifts the attention from the whole team to that one player.

Detroit had other players to lock up that were more important than hossa and with detroit's cap issues they couldn't resign him no matter what the offer was. That proves Hossa isn't just in it for the money and the fact he originally wanted to be traded to Detroit. It isn't really an insult considering that Hossa never really had a contract with pittsburgh if it was like the Dany Heatley situation with the ottawa senators I see valid reason to be angry. Hossa was a mid season acquisition that teams bring in to help your team win the cup. He had the opportunity to sign with any NHL team at the start of last season.

A. Osgood's mistake on Talbot's second goal in game 7. I'm saying this because the series could have went either way.
B. Detroit's defence because they gave up a lot of turnovers in this series.

I agree crosby should have higher pay but not higher than ovechkin because Crosby is kind of injury prone and it would look bad if a player gets high pay and is hurt all the time. Hossa was playing with a torn rotator cuff so of course he isn't going to do very good. The winning goal in game 7 was scored on a mistake because Osgood was obviously out of position when he tried to predict where Talbot was trying to shoot and If it wasn't for Fleury Detroit would have won the series in game 5.

They did seem a little tired but the reason I'm blaming osgood is because of the way talbot's second goal went in Osgood was out of position. The only reasons this series was close was Marc andre Fleury and Evgeni Malkin and the consoling motivating words of Mario Lemieux. Crosby was just as useless as Hossa in this series.
