  • OH YEAH I CAN JUST TASTE THE CULTURE!

  • seems like dishwasher soap is more of a smelling distraction than your hand

  • Very nice!

  • Thank you for this video.

  • THANK YOU - THANK YOU!! For me as an European, I'm always highly irritated how Americans hold the glass not on the stem. Just as they're all thinking the long stem is just to make it look fancy! Please, do as told here, and proof at least a little bit of culture. Thank you, Americans!

  • @wrkfrx I agree.. And Im a british-american. (From England moved to America)

  • @wrkfrx Ouch, I actually like holding by the stem. o.o

  • @wrkfrx Oh, those uncultured Americans, what a bother! But brace up chap, those vulgar barbarians will never learn... Some people just can not grasp the subtle eloquence of high society! hmhmmhhhmmm yes

  • Pretty *much* only drink wine and sake.

  • The second main point behind your demonstration is not quite true. It's actually a very common misconception. Your body's heat is far from having any relevant effects in the wine's temperature. The surrounding air is the only factor that plays a main role in this argument.

  • Is it that important for red wine? I understand the smell factor, but the temperature of red wine (unless served cooler than room temperature) wouldn't really vary that much,

  • @HAMayoral, yes, there are many different temperatures red wine is to be served. for instance, the red wines that goes with pasta, fish and chicken, are to be served at 16-18 celcius, and stronger wines will be served at 20, some even a bit over that. the temperature is essential to a red, one or two degrees will ruin the balance!

  • They swirl it to oxygenate the wine to get the full flavor and aroma. I'm sure it becomes habit to swirl it before drinking for some people. Not everyone drinks wine to get drunk.

Though if you're in it just to get drunk (and you could care less about being proper; nothing really wrong with that either) then yeah, drink from whatever and however you want.

  • @JessisKnoll ...wouldn't vodka be a little more efficient in the way of just getting oneself drunk? ^_~

  • @weatheredtome True enough =D though I cant =P I'm gluten intolerant so the alcohol that I can consume is limited. I pretty only drink wine and sake.

  • I makes perfect sense that you would watch a wine etiquette video about how to hold a wine glass, just to tell us your dislikes and to also tell us you drink it out o a "fuckin MUG" kill yourself ty

  • thank you very very much!

  • thats true!!
