One Big Zam was taken out by its allies, One of the major weaknesses of having 3 giant MAs is that their firing arcs can hit each other, so yeah. That didnt turn out too well for Zeon

In this game's sequel, weapons with big beam diameters (like the Big Zam's main cannon, or the Super Gundam's Long Rifle) can no longer bypass I-fields.

So in that game there would be no friendly fire issues with the Zeon here.
