too many things are going on. too many characters and too many plots because you want to concentrate on love, friends, and whats going on with the DH.

focus on one thing. make the DH the main plot and the love and friends minuscule.

less characters and focus on the main three.

it also depends on how its written.

my advice. know what you want to write about and make an outline.

I really like this, it's better than the actually ending of the book. BTW Dumbledore could still have a kid even though he is gay, do you know how many guys will have girlfriends, wifes, ext. go to all the extremes so no one will find out that they are gay. You could always have it be like that. It's much better than all the other ones people made where all they did was pick actors for the characters the author made and didn't even present a possible conflict.
