ok so heres how i fixed my problem for trying to get the export code so i can get my rock band 2 songs on to rock band 3. go to support.ea.com, go to contact us, under product chose rock band 3, then your platform, under category chose feebdack and customer service. when you describe your issue tell them that you need the export code so you can get your rock band 2 songs on to rock band 3. And they should send you a code between 24-48 hours. hope this helps.

Anyone help me please, I have already used my RB2 code for the RB2 Bonus songs on RB2, now whenever I go to use the code it says its already been used, if I go to rock band 3 and get more songs, then "Previously Redeemed Codes" it says like problem getting token, and it's the same when I go on extras then to link the account, it says that it cant get code, any help, please!? :(

A little tip for those that cant get the songs to export, go to the redeem bit but don't put the code in until you get some fans and a challenge called "Well Connected." I could only get the songs after I did that, Failing that try and export them on friends xbox's, start the download on theirs and then cancel it. When you are back on your xbox you can download it to your xbox through the download history bit on the dash board.

@P0wer2R0ll You have to put the code from the back of the RB2 manual into the official rockband website's PS3 export section (Google rock band 2 export PS3, should be the top link). It'll give you another code, and that's the one you put into the RB3 Redeem Code menu.

@Slickbullet813 Everything that's DLC before RB3's release is going to transfer. But anything that came out after RB3's release is only available for RB3, and not backwards compatible for Rock Band 1 and 2.

@TheEmpireOfJarvis the code u have right now (RB2 manuel) is so u can go to rockbandcom/ps3-export or if u have another console visit rockband official site. im guessing it is 16 characters but those 16 will be generated to 12 in order for u to finally export then paying

@zerrio55 Zerrio55 what HatchetRunnerStudios is saying is wrong, because RB1, RB2, L:RB didn't even have harmonies and keyboard parts in the first place. All of those will only have the pre-existing charts. On the other hand, GD:RB does have harmonies to RB3 but not keyboard. If you mean keyboard parts as in non-pro guitar/bass then ya that's possible in RB3, cause u can use ur keyboard for those two instruments as well but not pro mode.

@zerrio55 if i remember correctly, yes, because most the oldddd school DLC in the music store have been revamped with those parts. so it's a 99% chance for RB1, and RB2, but a 79% chance for LRB

@chilldude202 Nope, when you export a song you're actually downloading the songs to your harddrive from Xbox Live. They don't have the RB3 songs up there.

great vid. ill be getting rb 3 soon. I returned my rock band 2 set and got all my money back since I had warrenty. My drum foot pedal broke and I had to return the entire set but it is worth it. Now I can use the money for this game plus ion drums. Continue with rb 3 vids, I hope you can show us some of your skills =D

@forbiddenhunter6 Thanks for the comment! The RB3 drum pedal isn't much better. It's still made of plastic. There are some third party pedals that you may want to look into. There are more Rock Band 3 videos coming out so stay tuned :-)
