This isn't my style, but thats not what I have the issue with. I have the issue with him saying that, "It's not praise if it's not visible or audible" and "In corporate worship, silence is out of order". He needs to be careful about separating style of worship from rules of worship. The Bible does not say we have to constantly be loud in church. We are all sinners saved by grace, and every denomination has some questionable things going on. Does that mean we shouldn't say anything. This clip was just a snippet of one of his messages. The point made is correct.....nothing new.
True, many use yes to calm down the saints but as a COGIC son, I and many others know the history well. I'm not throwing off but sound bites of all kinds can pass the wrong message ;)

Catholic Holiness folk? Baptist Holiness Folk? This man just said you must come in at the door and if this is so then there is only one church, one way, one baptism in Jesus name, and one Holy Ghost. If you truly have the Holy Ghost it will testify of God and if it does so, it will not tell you conflicting things. There is only one way in the door and only one door not 50 that lead to the same god.

Yes Lord means have your way Lord. It means whatever you want me to do Lord I will say yes to it. I'm sorry, but yes Lord ain't got nothing to do with no money or a promotion. It means if my family and friends leave, yes I will still go. Can we stop serving God for blessings and serve him because of who he really is. Somebody need to analyze "I am so satisfied." The savior should mean more to you than anything that this world could offer.

Well Precious hearts I am a loud, radical, on fire Pentecostal so who ever made the response about quietness speak for yourself and leave all quiet spirits in the quiet churches. The bibles says make a joyful noise unto the Lord!!! I hate when quiet people sit by me then want to shut me up and I got to almost have an aneurysm trying to hold my praise and not disturb them!!! this is your pastor first of all he is out of order for preaching at a bishops church without a tie on.. and why does he have to do so much yelling? can he preach quietly .... he isn't all that .. but I will say he can sing...

Hi! yeah, this is my pastor... 1st off, he never disprespects anyone, especially not in their own house so if he doesn't have on a tie, then he most likely cleared it w/ the bishop of this particular church. 2nd, he's very versatile, he does NOT "yell" all the time. 3rd, YES CAN SAAAANG, not sing. Thanks and be blessed! LFM ALL DAY, I LOVE MY PASTOR!

first of all, he is out order if the BISHOP does not allow it and has a problem with it. Pastor Simmons is all about order and will not do anyting that goes agenst it. That is a Reglious Sprit and we as a people need to get over that and focus on GOD and what he has for us. Be Blessed In JESUS mighty name

I've had to remove some those comments that were accusing Pastor Simmons of "being messy and attacking the COGIC". Pastor Lamar would never attack or insult any denomination. He was merely bringing up a point as to how "Yes Lord" has been misused in some of our churches (not all). Please be careful in posting your comments, especially if you aren't correct in your accusations. God Bless Enjoy the Word!
