When I first went over this bridge into Oregon a few months ago, it scared the heck out of me, but when I back over into Washington, I was a little more at ease. It's an incredible example of the 1930's beauty. Thanks Washington and Oregon, for helping this fine piece of architecture celebrate it's 81st birthday this year.
I live in Longview, so I've been back and forth over this bridge too many times to count. It used to make me nervous but I'm not bothered by the height of it anymore.
The first time I went over this bridge was a few months ago. I went from Washington to Oregon, and I was scared to death when I went over it the first time, but, by the second time, I was ready for another go 'round. The killer was, I had to be home at a certain time, and my home was nearly a hundred miles away from the bridge, on the Washington side. This 80 year old, 300 foot tall bridge is not for the faint of heart.
i drive over this bridge every day to get lotto lol
