Beat only goes against you for a little while then he returns to fight Neku and Joshua one last time but fails so he decides to help them take down the reapers once and for all, on the like last day of the last game Neku, Beat, Joshua, and Shiki come back to fight all of them and then Rhyme comes back and the game ends. I didn't exactly spoil much either ;).
