whenever i travel to other islands i find the thing im looking for but i never find the island i live on, i need cactus for a mob trap but im 100% sure if i leave i will never find my island... that and im a horrible boat driver i also have 3 chests full of rare supplies like gold, diamonds etc

@simbisombo2 well actually now i have an item hacker so i can get unlimited cacti but the mob trap isnt working i didnt know you could ONLY place cactus on sand and it has to be 1 space away from another cactus, also if an item touches cactus it disappears i put 10 buckets of water into it and theres 0 light

@bmnccrazed Make a compass before setting out on journeys, but make sure your house is near the place where you first spawned

@pitut12 usually if you put a bed somewhere that will be your spawn if you just started it will randomly choose since there isnt a bed

the easiest way to make a trap, is to easily make a lava-fountain, then the mobs will start burning when they hit the lava, but they will usualy walk away from it randomly before they die, so the items won't disappear

im currentlly building a 50x50 room for a mobs trap was gonna use lava but then i realized items would disenigrate...any ideas for trap other then cacti? dont no how to do water trap

write cactus in the seeds lower case to spawn near cactus its wierd but really works hope i helped :)

Don't waste your time looking for tons of cacti. Once you find one farm it for three more and so on. Once you get enough cacti you can even create a automated farm. that causes very little effort to get cacti.

it's easy to find cacties, just go search for them and mark ur way with cobblestone, it's guarranteed u won't get lost, and other times when u think ur lost, just follow the cobblestones u put b4

@tennisgrl3497 Lol, well, I'm on a world where there is no cactus at all in near my base, every else save I always get 10-40 cactus near the respawn point and spawn point! In this save, where I actually have came abit long, I fin d zero, I've walked like miles away from my base, only I found was like 58 iron ingots and 28+ iron ores, those got lost when I thought I died far away, but actually it was in my first base-.- So now I'm looking for cactus and iron..
