This is exactly why I believe this infinite combo should be patched out. According to David Sirlin in his original Playing to Win articles, Americans didn't practice the "roll cancel" in Capcom Vs. SNK 2 because they believed it to be unrealistically difficult, risk not worth reward. Japan practiced and proceeded to steamroll us. Mark my words, someone will practice this hard enough that they will have the confidence to do this infinitely and consistently.

I have trouble doing this on the ps3 controller, but I can't imagine it being too hard on a stick. It's not easy by any means though.

The game has been out since 2008. Japan got it first. And yet, no one has dominated with Fuerte.

And yes, Damage scaling rapes difficult infinites.

@metaXzero Damage scaling does affect infinite combos, but it will never reduce the damage to 0. It just reduces the damage to 10% minimum. Just because nobody has dominated with El Fuerte yet doesn't matter. If someone can put theory into practice, they can have the round sealed with that combo. It's just that nobody's bothered to put up that kind of effort yet.

1. Fierce slowly knocks Fuerte away from the enemy. Eventually, he won't be able to land a Fierce.

2. Damage scaling reduces the higher combos into negligible damage

3. Its really difficult to maintain for even the best players.

No Fuerte Japanese or otherwise has successfully "sealed" a round with an infinite RSF loop and no one ever will, thanks to all the negatives.

The scaling is already at 10%. It didn't matter whether he Focused or not, his hits will not get any weaker.

@Realmasterorder I recently begin learning to do it. I get three hits every once in a while. But It's follow and face paced, tribal like rhythm after the first hit. It's best to see the character and feel it in your hand.
