Don't get me wrong - I have immense respect for the guy, both as a musher and a humanitarian. And I don't imagine he plans to run dogs for very extended periods on the track, but looking at that, the first thing that comes to mind is the dogs' joints. There are reasons we don't train on flat surfaces like this. Again, I know that Martin knows what he's doing and takes great (and well-deserved pride), in the care of his dogs. Just a thought.... That said, I eagerly await the findings!!
Very very very COOL! Thanks for letting us see this awesome setup with unlimited potential! Best of luck with it all-- Linda, Husky Power Dogsledding in Maryland.

No surprise he's won the Alaska Airlines Leonhard Seppala Humanitarian award for the competitive Iditarod musher who takes best care of his dogs.
