This Ad is from the thisisabuse.direct.gov.uk campaign. EVERY SINGLE video and example they have shows a boy abusing a girl. All pictures in their literature are female or androgynous. The level of sexism in this campaign is appalling, especially as it comes from the Equity Ministry.
To suggest girls are incapable of abuse is ridiculous. Any boy exposed to this campaign in the class room should take a law suit out.

That said, the rest of your statement has an obvious problem: your one experience doesn't mean that everybody will have that same experience.
That is why we instead rely on the experience of millions and we call those STATISTICS. Those statistics indicate that both males & females can be and are abusers. Those statistics also indicate that the behavior in this video is both commonplace and abusive.

This reminded me of my first relationship when I was 16 and luckily after 6 months I did 'see myself', but in a lot of respects it was too later by then, and I'd experienced a lot of damaging abuse already. this is a good advert, but I just don't think teenagers will understand it unless they've been through it - as you can see here, they think it's just funny.
