the Nassau Coliseum may be a dump, and one of the worst facilities in the NHL, it still is one of the best places to watch a hockey game, take my word for it.

Wow so many new teams in the NHL and new arenas....

I think some of the old arenas are much better than the newer ones...like Chicago Stadium, The Aud, Boston Garden, Maple Leaf Gardens, Montreal Forum, The Spectrum, Checkerdome...and who can forget the Hartford Civic Center, Winnipeg Arena and Quebec Colisee

Verizon Center is a nice building, I live in Pittsburgh but i go down to Washington every year to see the pens and caps. I've been to a few other buildings too, ACC is sweet, MSG will always be my # 1 fav place to travel to. Mellon Arena will be sorely missed by all Pittsburghers, it is time for a new building though, but there is just some kind of mystique when u walk into Mellon Arena that i dont think will be there in the new place.
