its been three years since i discovered nana and its still my fav anime/manga and even though ai yazawa obviously isnt going to finish it (which gets me pissed -.-) i still respect and thank her for making this manga that made me laugh...but mostly cry lol. UR AWESOME MISS YAZAWA <3 :D

Personally , I wish that the anime will end first and then the manga . I just love to see them moving , criying , smiling like in real life . I hope Ai Yazawa will make our wish come true ( and hope you'll be alright ! ) .

@ImNotWrong2 - No, unfortunatly it's on hiatus due to the author being sick. She stated upon her return home, that she didn't not know whether she would continue 'Nana'. That statement was given in spring 2010. :(

@ImNotWrong2 Yes, indeed.. I mean, there's so much that needs an ending, closure.

Nana needs to be found, get back on stage and live a great life - also on behalf of the late Ren. And Hachi needs to ditch Takumi and get back together with Nobu (I mean, Taku is cheating constantly! And Hachi isn't happy in that relationship). And Reira needs to get over her girly love-crush of Taku and start looking at Shinichi for real!.. And I can just keep going..!!!

@ShonenNekoTakaya Yeah, I really hate it when I fall in love with an anime/manga which ended without closure or went on hiatus. Even though the story is set in a world which is faaar away from mine, the values and the feelings they feel, everything is so real. You come to love the characters, hate with them, cry with them, laugh with them. I seriously need more!

@JinnoBby It is something you can't really explain to people unless they've seen it. All of the characters are very easy to relate to. In some ways, Ren's death is the end of Nana. Nothing can be the same after he's gone. I think Ai Yazawa's heart broke when she wrote his death.

@ShonenNekoTakaya ... But so much still needs closure, I don't ask for happy fairytale-ending (though that would be nice), just.. a proper one. The title of the manga is 'NANA' and there're two Nana's, two stories linked together. I don't know.. it did go on hiatus at ch. 77, the ch. where Ren dies.. Aaargh, it's just wrong to end an amazing manga like that! But you're probably right, it was her way of ending it, without ending it, perhaps due to her illness. Really frustrating.

@Sakuily 11 volumes, although, the manga's stopped, Ai Yazawa (the creator of the manga) got sick (nobody knows the disease) and she was in hospital, the last thing I know, is that she got out of the hospital in April, 2010. Since there, no one knows anything about her, she could be death D: It's sad, but it's true, and I don't think she would continue the manga, wich is a shame cause there are lots of things to finish yet :'(
