  • bring ihn mal weg entweder is deine grafik karte im eimer oder es hilft alles nix mehr

  • Belive it or not.. i had the same problem with my mothers Acer, so i thought, it is dead anyway.. so i disassemblet it and put the motherboard in the pre-heated owen, 200 degrees celcius for 8 minutes.... Now it works :) been runing now for the last 12 hours without problems.

  • @nulledk definately trolling.

  • @nulledk The problem is the chipset itself, an mcp67 from Nvidia with integrated graphics, it tends to overheat and melt the solder joints. If you reflow the chipset and APPLY THERMAL COMPOUND CORRECTLY to it, then the laptop should be fine.

  • Problem with motherboard!!!! First i solve it with oven and it works for some months...now the problem was once again the same. I bought new one and solved the problem!!! :)

  • The problem with these mobo's is the graphics chip - it desolders itself due to the temp it runs at. The oven trick would work I guess but it's easier to use a heatgun on the chip itself, that way the heat stays local.

  • I know this problem,Your motherboard is broken....now you think...oops shit but you can fix it your self.

I have also a acer aspire 7520 with this problem.

Take out your motherboard and everything what you can remove.

Put the motherboard in your oven on screws that the hot air can circulate

You must pre-heat the oven on 200 degrees celcius and put the motherboard for 10-13 minutes on 200 degrees.

Let cool down everything and put yout laptop together.

It sounds crazy but it works! good luck!

  • hey, i read something about it, maybe the Bios is crashed.

Google about: acer crisis disk, but warning, with this you can flash your 7520 dead (sry, don´t speak much english).

BIOS= Basic Input / Output System = Software of the Motherboard

  • i have the exactly same problem!!!! please send me a message when u find out how to solve it please!!!!
