im proud to be american japanese, my uncle served in the 442nd and recieved the medal of honor for capturing 3 nazi soldiers and taking out a machinegun nest
And you are an immature individual, resorting to personal attacks rather than presenting your view, and backing up your viewpoint. You wouldn't say that to my face... but if you would, that makes you that much more worse. Why resort to petty personal attacks? You sound so enlightened when you start off with such a juvenile statement. Perhaps you need to grow up, change your behavior. Until then I will not respond to the point you tried to raise.
You are an ass. It was a movie about 800 Americans saving a couple of hundred Americans. That was the point of the movie. As an Asian-American, I find your kind of nonsensical BS just as ignorant as the racism of the past.
They showed this movie at the Japan America theatre in Little Tokyo about a month ago and Tamilyn Tomita also co-hosts the annual Nisei Week Queen Coronation ceremony with David Ono from ABC mainly cuz she was a former Nisei Week Queen herself
We got to pre-order these at the 100ths big get together at the Hilton Hawaiian. That was supposedly their last big get together with just the 100th vets because a lot of the 100th vets are gone now. Theyre gonna start getting together with the 442nd guys. When I was like 7 they held big christmas partys at their clubhouse (Club 100) for friends and family of the 100th vets. Now Im 15 and the partys are way smaller. Its sad.
one thing i notice here is that Tamlyn Tomita doesn't have a Japanese accent anymore like she did in Karate Kid Pt. 2 unless she was faking it for her role.
An awsome combat unit, the most decorated unit in US history, and my favorite, and an actress that I absolutly love, Tamlyn Tomita, thanks soooo much for posting this. Know where I can get a DVD of the film?

I want to see this movie, and I hope it deals with the racist BS that led to 800 Asian-American soldiers dying to save a couple hundred white ones.

Furthermore, Asian-American or not, you need to study up on your history to see how ignorant your own statement is.
