  • Gracious Gradious

  • ..froooooooom the paaaaaaavemeeeeennt comes an aaaaaarrrmmyyyyyyyyyyyyy......miiiilllkiinnggg da lyrrriiiicccs-aaaaa!

  • K. Martin kiks ass.

  • he has an amazing voice, and is so underrated.

i wanna sleep with him and suck on his toes!

  • CANDLELIVE :P

  • Same ol cookie cutter garbage. Kevin is way better in Candlebox.

  • @foodstampspender Yeah, cookie cutter my balls.

  • ..this voice reminds me very much to grand magus!

  • We gonna meet @ Groningen 24 January 2011 @ Oosterpoort !!!! This is great !

  • Hmm jury is still out on this 1, this new singer (Kevin is his name yeah?) doesnt sound as good as Ed......

  • @FinallyANickNotTaken His name is Kevin Martin and he was the lead singer of Candlebox and he isn't meant to replace Ed so to say he doesn't sound as good isn't fair to him or the new group that they have all formed.

  • @FinallyANickNotTaken That "singer" is Kevin Martin of Candlebox, and he BLOWS Ed away.

  • @FinallyANickNotTaken How is he a new singer? Kevin Martin's been around since the early 90's seattle scene, from the band Candlebox

  • Any 90's child knows this is good music.

  • Boring out-dated rock crap. Sorry, don't like it.

  • @HoraceScope boring music critic with no soul... i don't like you : ) jk merry xmas everybody

  • Saw them in Seattle last night..... Kevin still has the energy. However really let down. Show was 110 percent for the first half then meh. No disrespect but on the way home had to rock the candlebox cd to get my head straight. Badass song though.

  • heard this one tonight on the radio. very nice tune :)

  • Yowza. To me, totally epic. This song just blew me away. It's about time their's some quality loud hard 'n heavy RnR sound from back in the day. A sound I crave. Don't worry Liveoneut...I'll be spreadin' the word. :)

  • Sean and Chad just did an interview for Fret12.com

  • Best rock band for a decade!

  • Chad Taylor and Sean Hennesy are doing an interview with Fret12. You can submit any questions you have for them, and many other guitar players!

  • wow...someone has been listening to their Soundgarden CDs

  • @CourtyardPigeon Agreed. A real Soundy feel to them. Particularly early Soundy

  • They are playing Oct. 31 in Ephrata, PA in a small theater with 200 seats so up close is cool. I found the tickets online..only $20 at Ephrata Main Theater.

  • @SergeantS8 Yup they're playin' the chameleon tonight.

  • Who knew that two crappy bands could come together and cover Zeppelin!!! Amazing!!!

  • @Elduderino365 I don't remember this was a Led Zeppelin song

  • It's so sad that I had to go search for this after looking into their other bands. This really is good, and should be given a fair chance. I'm really digging it.

  • can't wait to see these guys live! loved candlebox and LIVE!

  • diggn this band way much!!

  • His voice is still good.

  • Finally some good new rock. This is even better than I expected from these guys!

  • Great band , heard them on Octane on Sirius last pm.

Finally a band with original sound and lyrics that's worth downloading.

    Steve

  • What a great song!!! His voice is pure bliss... So original and strong.. He's consistent throughout the whole song... Great guitar riff at the bridge! Oh so love this song... A favorite from here on out!

  • The class of these artists just permiates thru and thru.......Look forward to many years of good Gracious shit........keep driving the nail boys, it's still sending a powerful message...We will never tire of this!..bring on 14 September.......

  • The class of these artists just permiates thru and thru.......Look forward to many years of good Gracious shit........keep driving the nail boys, it's still sending a powerful message...We will never tire of this!..

  • i know chad taylor personally

  • @spoofman1234 - He's one of the most inventive guitarists in the biz. I hear he's a really guy.

  • A part of me hopes they'll be more successful than Ed. Ed crapped all over his band and I'm not interested in anything he's involved in. Greed and his inflated ego has left me disillusioned, and I have a great loss of respect for him. He lost his best friends.

  • @ProfessorEggflesh

I too feel the same way in part, but I'm sure we don't know the entire story.

  • @Re1apse - That's true. I guess I'm jusr sad to see it end. I hope they'll remain friends.

  • 54 people have good taste in music, and One douche prefers Justin smelly Beaver

  • The singing is too high pitched and sucks. This band is nothing without Ed. Not interested and won't be buying any Gracious Few albums.

  • @TxAggieJen Suck my butt slut. The Gracious Few kills!

  • Very cool! It reminds me of Soundgarden. Fuck Ed Kowalczyk.

  • @mrnorman - Good ear! I was racking my boney little skull trying to figure out who they remind me of.

  • @mrnorman

How does this remind your of soundgarden?

  • My god..PD, and CG,,,what a unit....miss you two.....one day in York we shall meet again.....

  • Really well writen song! hope the rest of the album can deliever!

  • bout time both these bands did something. well half of each band lol

  • Cool song, I used to listen to candlebox back in the day and this definately brings back memories. Thanks again.

  • I love this song though for some reason it reminds me of "Space Lord" by Monster Magnet. Thanks for the post.

  • I think this song cements the fact, that Kevin Martin is still the most relvant artist from the music scene of the 90's. I seen him with Candlebox just last week, and the guy sounds unfreakinbelievable! Not to mention that his stage presance is second to none. No one out there today sings with the passion and soul that Kevin does. Step aside Chris Cornell, and Eddie Vedder and take notice. Neither of you have recorded anything relavent for 10yrs. Kevin Martin is definitely having the last laugh!

  • @Mainrollman Thats a bold statement bro... The term "relevant" is all relative! Relevancy should not be confused with quality!Eddie has come out with lots of good music in the last 10 years, LOTS! Cornell has come out with some decent music too. No need to rag on two of the best artists out there in order to support Martin.

That said, this song Honest Man just rocked my face off!

  • @TheDeadCenterlive I'm not bashing Cornell or Vedder. As I am a big fan of both. And while I will admit, I am an even a bigger fan of Martin, I didn't say this because I felt the need to support him. I think his music speaks for itself. And "IMO" and you know what they say about opinions, it's MY opinion, his work and voice has held up better than both Cornell and Vedder's as the years have gone by.

  • @Mainrollman You're entitled to your opinion dude - I wasn't looking to bash it at all, thats definitely not my style. I was just showin some love for Vedder and Cornell!

  • @TheDeadCenterlive It's all good man. And your entitled to your opinion also. I have great respect for both Cornell and Vedder. In fact, I watched a live version of Soundgarden's Far Beyond The Wheel on here just today. And it's unreal how good Cornell's voice sounded. Look it up. It was filmed at the Showbox this spring during their reunion concert they played there.

  • @Mainrollman Sick performance! Cornell has some of the best performances i've ever seen on Youtube. He's got one of the best rock voices in history

  • 1 word - Rocking.

  • Love it!

  • Great song. Just heard it on the radio.

  • i hate that live broke up but now there is the gracious few!

  • This song has really grown on me. I was not used to Kevin martin's voice, but it's damn awesome...Very passionate vocals and excellent instrumentation.

  • AWESOME!!!

  • This tune is like a hot-buttered pelvic massage.

  • Yeah, the solo if like a hot-creamed hand job.

  • I can't wait for the album. Hooray Gracious Few! :-)

  • Love this song. I will continue to follow Ed and TGF, both are amazing.

  • there's a bit of soundgarden in this chorus

  • By the way, this is a cool song, the only thing is I can't stop imagining how it would have sounded with Ed's voice.. then again, it may have not come out like this at all..

  • @liyzette Yeh it's not hard to imagine how this song would sound with Ed's voice on it but I think this new guy has a great voice in it's own right. I always love Chad's guitar textures.

  • the music sounds great...I realize LIVE has broken up, but if it's for the best, then that's how it is....I hope this new band reaches success.

  • finally, music. real music. 90's...i've missed you.

  • maybe. But untrue?

  • @LargelyGay Admittedly, LIVE the song Heaven in which Ed references his daughter, but lets remember he is not the only one to have had a child or more. What is the wrong in writing a song for your child? I honestly thought it was a beautiful song.

  • So you're drinking the coffee..

  • @LargelyGay I don' t really think there is any correlation between having balls and choosing to draw inspiration from the children that you feel God blessed you with, in writing lyrics. Considering how unique Ed's lyrics are (and have always been), and the fact that he is not afraid to sing about aspects of spiritual truth, I think he could be considered to be bolder.

  • Actually, I think you are entitled to your opinion about this, but there are those of us who can equally appreciate The Gracious Few and Ed at the same time, so you could keep it polite for us, heh?

  • That's not what inspires him, silly

Eddie's Coffee "Songwriter's Signature Espresso Blend" (8oz. or 16oz. bag)

My secret songwriting weapon revealed! Eddie's Coffee "Songwriter's Signature Espresso Blend" is an expertly crafted blend that is super aromatic and intense. It's designed to yield extra crema and extra inspiration. lol It's also fair trade and organic, so drink up! Love, Eddie K

    Price: $10.00

Coffee: a brewed drink prepared from roasted seeds

  • As I stated on the video for "Grace" by Ed.... I would think that true LIVE fans would support both projects. I know I am.

  • Much love to TGF, as well as Ed on his solo projects.

  • awesome tune, i love finding new bands that rock. thanks octane \m/

  • Honest Man Incredible after seeing Fat Daddy's , can't wait to buy the CD..

  • Sweet! From a gal that went to the "high" with Chad, Pat and Chad.....fantastic!!! You Rock! xoxo

  • I like it man. Are you going to press any vinyl? My netbook speakers just blew out, sending bill.

  • I love this, great song!

  • this is sooo awesome. cant wait for the angle to come out. its alot heavier than i thought it was gonna be but i LOVE it!

  • Back to the early 90's - amazing. I love TGF!

  • Finally.. some fucking balls.

    Any songs about anyone's daughters?

  • Comment removed

  • This is their first single off the album. Pretty good I must say!

  • Thanks for posting up this great song! YouTube is blocked at work but I can listen on my phone now. It's gonna be great boys and girls! Be sure to spread the word!!!!
