Ouch, That brings back memories. I did something similar to that years ago on an RM 250. Some friends and I were jumping a gully that was about 10 feet deep and about 15 feet wide. I hit a rut and got crossed up on approach and slammed into the side of the gully. I was damned lucky to have just bruised my pride, broke my front fender and bent the front rim.

this wouldnt have happened if he was using ANY other brand of dirtbike. the back kicked up because the KTM rear suspension doesnt use linkage. it makes it way more sensitive to bumps. it couldnt take all that force at that speed so the back shot up. just saying.

@TNT0403 It actually says it WOULDN'T have happened to any other brand, referring to that of KTM. KTM does not use linkage on the bike he is riding. Honda/ Yamaha etc. all use linkage. KTM's rear shock has to handle much more difference in terrain than a shock with linkage does. KTM couldn't get the shock to not have so much rebound because the shock has to move the entire length of the travel of the swingarm while a bike with linkage only moves 2/3 of that which the KTM shock does.

The front wheel took all of the force, no matter what brand you try it with, no dirt bike will ever survive that.
