  • Wow, very weird...this sounds just like a standard diesel bus with a Voith transmission. I wonder...if they don't have the Continuously Variable Transmission that the Allison hybrids have. Very interesting...and thanks for uploading this!

  • @Bastranz Thanks!

Yep, I was very surprised at how similar it does sound to a standard ISL with D863.4 or similar. I hope to someday get a better recording (without the HVAC on full blast) as well.

  • This is weird but cool Voith in Hybrids lol

  • @MVRTA108 Yep. I'll have to try for another ride sometime when it's not so cold out. 4 degrees that day IIRC.

  • hahaha this is funny

  • Sounds like a regular diesel but quieter. At least County Connection isn't the only one that has these.

  • @bigken6005 Didn't know they had them too. Cool.

  • Nice, though it is a hybrid, its acceleration is sounded similar to a regular voith transmission that we are use to hear in them.

  • @seClip9 I know it. I was surprised how similar it sounds especially comparing a bus with ISL/Allison B400R to one with ISL/Allison EP-40
