I don't want to insult anyone, so don't take offense to my question. Did you prepare your metal properly, by cleaning it well and then scouring it well also? I think your production should be much better, because your idea is sound.
Hi there you are correct to try and get the spacing as small as possible, but hho is produced across the anode and cathode, so your area space is the edge of the metals on your design. The flat area of the metal is wasted, you would be better of putting one helix inside the other therefore increasing the surface area. Hope this helps :-)
well its NOT a double helix! Its two coils wound together, but that dosnt make it into a double helix design. Human DNA is a double helix and the two strands are wound counter clockwise of I mean the oposite way. Yours rotate the same way.
Great stuff!!! Can you please tell us more about your input, are you using any electronics or are you just coming straight off a 12V battery? Are you using 304 stainless steel and clean (Tap) water?
No electronics, straight 12V DC (more like 11.2v - crappy old computer power supply).
It's 301 stainless steel and tap water. Screwed it up by using tap water with electrolyte (NaOH) - now it's crusted with stuff on the edges between the helices.
Preparing a new cell right now, hopefully it's ready this weekend (don't count on it, sorry).
Destilled water with KOH works way better - also, 5V almost has the same output (at any amp). More volts just heat up the water.
No idea. I suspect the container I was using in the meantime to be leaking. I'll have something new ready in the next days/week, then I can make some reasonable measurements.
The helix design is already being discussed at overunity dot com, btw!
Awesome! Please, please, please, give us some gas production data for your wattage input. If you need some ideas on how to accurately measure production, please see my latest video dtaed 2007/08/06.
In plate designs, neutral plates vastly increase efficiency. I think what's next is to incorporate one or more neutral helixes. Good luck winding that up though. ;-) ZFF

Hei !
What material are you using ? Lead ? Stainless-steel ?
Another question is, why that thing go BOOM, you have + ja - connected and in water ?

yes it worcks good but i thing it will be better if you
turn on 90 degreese.I like it

I'd like to see the windings inside/outside with an ultra small gap. And also with all edges sealed.
Blast off.

Nice job.
I think for testing purposes its ok to use cables inside.
For your helix it is very easy to mount the terminals outside your "container".
Leave the ends longer, and mount it with ss-screws to outside.
You can easy make a drycell out of this.
Your english "th" sounds a bit funny sometimes, like my one ;o)

WARNING---Never use wire inside a cell---it will corrode, spark and shall we say, boom?

Nice way to get even spacing, but the output sucks compared to a true double helix. watch?v=_hv1rrHH-Oc

Nice ! What is your next step? This video is a number of months old. Any improvements?

The only issue I can see with this design is that it would be restricted to torch use.
I'm working on a few concepts to see if I can keep the gases separate.
Good work though. You've got the distance between electrodes quite nice. Ever tried the stacked razor blade method?

maybe multiple n elix with a smaller radius into the great helix ans so on, like dna form

what would happen if you could reverse the poles rapidly ?
wingnut4427 4 years ago
That is a great reaction for 1.3 amps!
I'd like to suggest another helix inside the other spiroling in the other direction.

Hi great helix cell !
Do you already get below 2.4 Watthours of energy input
for 1 Liter HHO gas ? If yes, you are overunity !
Please come to overunity dot com to discuss your technology. Many thanks. Regards, Stefan. ( admin of overunity dot com )

I like the use of Zipties to secure your spacing no your double helix design. They are handy buggers to have when you need them

I wonder if the neutrals will work with this cell as there is no way to seal it from leaking current.
