I like everyone that says that it is BS.... And yes people will do that when they attack you, its an intimidation thing, to get up in your face. If you do not know, the reason he faints is because the carotid artery is hit with that much force, it shuts down the brain for a moment due to the lack of oxygen being carried to the brain. Quite interesting actually.
All I know is I have taken lots of chops/handswords to various parts of the neck (not even close to full power) and a few of them instantly made my knees give out and i was dizzy for about 30 seconds...so i have no doubt that a properly placed strike to the neck with reasonable force could easily drop a large threat....the no touch knockout on the other hand...ffs..
I am OBSESSED with this vid! Okay, you attacked both sides of his neck (carotid artery - for you MMAphiles out there all of a sudden this is the same area where a choke is applied). So, I guess the sudden shock to both sides would cause a sudden light-headed/faint feeling. But, my main question is the ankle kick. Is that a pressure point that has to be hit in unison w/ the neck strikes? Of course, I have no wish to ever use this but that doesn't mean that I don't want to get the science of it!
I am a woman and want to learn fast ways of defending myself it I have to. This looks good, but how hard do I have to hit to knock someone down. What happens to the person after, do they go to sleep, are they gone die?
i have studied martial arts for 35 years and have met both george dillman and leon jay and neither could do these pressure point knockouts on anyone but there students.it,s fake and a disgrace to true martial arts
hi! how long would it take to learn how to use pressure points effectively? It doesnt have to be that one, but if I want to learn how to use it to an extent, how long would it take? Its cause I am constantly afraid that if I am in a situation where I need to defend myself, i wont be able to, but I also dont want to hurt the other guy too much as Im defending myself, I want to learn how to make the other guy fall down so I can quickly run away if im caught in that situation
always frightens me, knowing that you can disrupt blood flow to the extent that you pass out. what if you throw a clot into his carotid artery causing him to stroke out..
the only ignorant question i have is why do most teacher like to test their devastating and harmful abilities on students or newcomers that hardly know anything about martial arts?
ok that was really cool but how did you do it? I saw you kick his leg do you have to do that inorder to knock them out? and were your hands facing palm up or done?
@ughuarf You must know what you are doing and train alot. Being a Blackbelt dont make you an expert. Remember, the color of your belt dont mean an ounce of shit in the streets.

very good video. very professional, i have seen other videos after watching this one and they seemed unprepared and not hitting clean ,fast, and effectively.
why must he hit and stroke the back of your neck?
Cool! More bullshit to exploit real martial arts in America...you know it'sexploited when the teacher is a fat-ass claiming to be able to knock somebody out by simply touching them...it's hard enough to hit someone's face in a real fight, what makes you think you could hit a pressure point (which wouldn't even knock them out, just piss them off)...Fight someone for real...there's a reason you don't see this shit in UFC or any REAL situations...
@MarshalNey13 because it requires you to use both hands at once and you have to carefully aim it. you would be unprotected and eat a punch from a trained fighter.
@MarshalNey13 im not sure but i think because they only suppos to be used to demostrate or for a life or death situation lol ether wey they take years 2 master
because this technique requires your opponent to stand there and let you hit him in the precise spot...how many MMA fighters gonna stand there hands down and stick their neck out to be chopped.
@MarshalNey13 its an illegal blow... its to the kneck and the side of the head.... and yes it does work... In UFC strikes to the kneck like this are illgal. I dont aprove of this being shown as it does not demonstrate how do do the technique.... making this even more dangerous... seriously dont try it on your mate or anything.... even at 25% power its horrible..
@MarshalNey13 it is used in the mma. More and more people are starting to realize the effectiveness of targeting these points. Read Chuck Lidells book, he talks about targeting points in it.
@MarshalNey13 throat strikes are illigal in mma, but there are guys who use other pressure point tactics Gorge St. Pierre uses pressure points, he even uses them on himself before a fight you'll somtimes see him press on a point in his forhead then right under his right rib cage.
because MMA fighters are trained athletes with a much better muscle structure and reflexes than "normal" people. using this vs a well trained opponent is close to impossible, because he won't grab your gi and wait for you to act. ;)
@MarshalNey13 I think if you really, REALLY search deep inside for the answer, you will find it.
But to save you time, ill tell you, its illegal, very dangerous unless you know how to bring someone back immediatley, and half the idiots in mms wouldnt remember where pressure points lie anyhow.
i wouldnt say you question was ignorant, just asked too quickly and without thought :)
@MarshalNey13 if your talking about UFC then they dont use it because no one would watch the show or buy tickets if theres no fighting only pressure points so it would be pretty boaring
@MarshalNey13 MMA is not the place to start from when it comes to judging martial arts. MMA is a prizefighters sport...im sure we dont want any deaths in the ring/octagon "you alright? can you breathe?"
The more fat or muscle somebody has, the harder you have to hit the pressure points. The student here is very thin, so the nerves don't have much tissue covering them.
MMA guys are much more muscular. Also, They do kind of utilize the technique. They aim for the same spot on the neck with their hooks and crosses. Chuck Liddell used to use ridge hands strikes (at least thats what they are called in kempo/kenpo) just like this guy.
@MarshalNey13 because in mma every fighter is more well prepared and can handle a strong atack like that one, he's damostrating a self defense! when the other person is not specting any atack from the victim! i hope i could help!
@MarshalNey13 Because you cant strike to the throat in mma, its more of a self defense move than an attacking move, maybe in early mma fights when i GI could be work this may have worked, but now its not allowed, and for all those wondering how it works, the sudden shock to the artery in the neck( cant remember the name) it stops blood flow to the brain, so you fall unconscious momentarily.

@MarshalNey13 Accualy, that's a pretty good question lol. I think it's too deadly for them to use in that. I mean if people started dying, I think the ratings would drop like a rock. XD
@MarshalNey13 Lol this is an ignorant question. The reason is bc not any1 can just us this move bc it might require lots of training and focus and by the time u have the focus 2 do this, assuming a fighter even knew this move then they'd probably get hit or taken down. Plus it'd wouldn't b a good fight and it'd create new rules 4 the sport. Besides would u rather c a fight ended by 1 pressure point hit or by some ground 'n pound punches.
fun KO... spleen 6 w/ stomach 9 and 10 on both sides of the neck... and you can learn this stuff at almost any karate school. I took Tang Soo Do for 8 yrs and on all three of my black-belt tests we had to describe and perform how to attack each pressure point...
How can this affect the health, I mean, for example, if I am a volunteer for getting knocked out in this way, is there any risk of any kind of damage to my brain or something like that?
why are you guys complaining? this is real. this isnt like that idiot who claims to be able to knock people out without touching them. he hit his throat. there are plenty of nerves and pressure points there. you can hit the vein there, and cause the blood to stop for only a moment. that causes you to black out. ive seen it done. stop complaing, please. thanks for the post! much respect
Makes sense, sudden shock to the carotid artery could prevent deoxygenated blood from leaving the brain or oxygenated blood from entering the brain resulting in unconsciousness from hypoxia.
why is it that pressure point knockouts are so popular in american kenpo but almost unheard of in chinese martial arts, since china popularized the whole pressure point thing?
@jdude05 They are, but you don't see them posting them. they are much more secretive about what they do. There is a lot more that I do too that you wont see me posting either.
@NoobsSuckx7 He slaps both carotid sinuses which are the location for some of the body's baroreceptors, which regulate blood pressure. The body thinks you have really high bloodpressure (due to the slap) and therefore tries to lower it.
i.e. you lose blood pressure after the slap, and "pass out".
My fiance who has studyed ananotmy for damn near a decade said it is very possile to discombobulate (something she said) someone that way. You are messing with his CNS there. What he did after that is beyond me.
@cursivedragon Have you ever heard of traditional chinese medicine TCM? Or shiatsu? This is all similar to it ...you work with the meridians. It's not about to damage his CNS...
Something to think about before saying kyusho jutsu/pressure point fighting is fake and doesnt work: 30 seconds ago I tried to search youtube with such phrases as "kyusho proven wrong" and "kyusho proven fake" Well with the first search I got 0 video results, with second I got 3 which were all about the american who says he can knock out without touching with his "death touch" technique.. Well I dont believe he can do it either but I surely do believe in kyusho jutsu

fun KO... spleen 6 w/ stomach 9 and 10 on both sides of the neck... and you can learn this stuff at almost any karate school. I took Tang Soo Do for 8 yrs and on all three of my black-belt tests we had to describe and perform how to attack each pressure point...

Can i ask you something?
How can this affect the health, I mean, for example, if I am a volunteer for getting knocked out in this way, is there any risk of any kind of damage to my brain or something like that?
Thank you.
Good video btw :)

why are you guys complaining? this is real. this isnt like that idiot who claims to be able to knock people out without touching them. he hit his throat. there are plenty of nerves and pressure points there. you can hit the vein there, and cause the blood to stop for only a moment. that causes you to black out. ive seen it done. stop complaing, please. thanks for the post! much respect

Makes sense, sudden shock to the carotid artery could prevent deoxygenated blood from leaving the brain or oxygenated blood from entering the brain resulting in unconsciousness from hypoxia.

Does he have to slap u in the neck like that to wake u up???? Or was he just makig u wake up faster? How long r u knocked out for??
iluvjustinbieber426 1 year ago
wouldn't that be the closing of the carotid arteries reducing blood flow to the brain causing him to be knocked out?
That slapping and massaging is loosening the surrounding tissue to allow for the flowing as opposed to constriction of flowing of blood to the brain.
Hence they wake up.

why is it that pressure point knockouts are so popular in american kenpo but almost unheard of in chinese martial arts, since china popularized the whole pressure point thing?
jdude05 1 year ago
@jdude05 They are, but you don't see them posting them. they are much more secretive about what they do. There is a lot more that I do too that you wont see me posting either.

could you tell me how that works?
NoobsSuckx7 1 year ago
@NoobsSuckx7 He slaps both carotid sinuses which are the location for some of the body's baroreceptors, which regulate blood pressure. The body thinks you have really high bloodpressure (due to the slap) and therefore tries to lower it.
i.e. you lose blood pressure after the slap, and "pass out".

When you fall like that, you are very likely to bump your head and have head injuries. Were you able to control your fall to land safely?
HyddenDragon 1 year ago
@HyddenDragon No he couldn't control his fall, but we were on thick tatami mats. Would be a different story if we did it on concrete or pavement.

Why did your instructor massage your neck and would that work for anyone knocked out?

My fiance who has studyed ananotmy for damn near a decade said it is very possile to discombobulate (something she said) someone that way. You are messing with his CNS there. What he did after that is beyond me.
cursivedragon 1 year ago
