I both love and hate this song.

The song itself is awesome, but it also reminds me of how much I FUCKING HATE SPIES. Engie's my best class, and no matter how good my setup is, it only takes ONE SPY to ruin everything. Yet any spies on my team always manage to get killed, and whenever *I* play spy, I get caught and killed in a matter of seconds.

So yeah, you dime-a-dozen backstabbing scumbags can go die in a Backburner.

The only people who can ever hope to succeed is the person who understands that when you change class, you start playing a completely different game altogether.

Spies are flammable when invisible for a reason, and they added the Homewrecker just in case people did not connect the dots. Two decent spies working together and it's pretty much over without support.

This song began as a Mud remix for the Red Alert song. If you listen to the drums they are programmed the same way. The synth noise at 0:43 was an attempt to remake the sound that starts at the end of the Mud song (like around 4 minutes or so into it).

@CTAT98 Nope. So get used to those pyros you see airblasting 10 times per second while rapidly shooting flames inbetween. Scripts dont cheat.. they just ensure tha you play as good as possible. Like, if you had REALLY good reflexes, yes, you could do what scripts do. but nobody does, no matter how fast they are. You can be fast enough to do what th script does yourself, but youll never be as fast as the script. The script would just change to the sapper IMMEDIATELY after you used the knive

... I can stab and sap level 3 sentries no problem. It's rather easy. Stab, hit q for quick change, run the same direction the sentry is spinning to face me and voila. No damage taken, sentry sapped.

@endroo93 You'd be surprised how easy it is to 'overswitch' and accidentally choose something like the pistol instead of your knife. Scripts kinda take the fun out of it, hence I play on 'Pure' servers quite a bit. (Unless I'm working on some sort of super-complicated bot-spawner.)

@daaku176 That's a bit awkward. Writing a script is easier. Plus I was classically trained. In Quake I keybound/aliased a rocket jump. Of course I'm still not sure if prevweapon is a valid command or if it had an equivalent, so I just had it switch weapons in reverse order of my preference. For instance my best possibility was the thunderbolt, then the super nailgun, then the super shotgun. So the command would end with "impulse 3; impulse 5; impulse 8". Get it?

I wrote this one myself. Copy and paste that whole thing into the developer console, then as long as you hold down the mouse wheel, you'll pull out the sapper and continually drop sappers until you release the mouse wheel, at which point you'll switch back to your last weapon.

@KumaraDosha It's fine. Keybinding and aliasing are completely fine. Anything that would be considered cheating has been patched over for the sake of fairness. All you're doing is assigning commands you use anyway to different keys in ways you don't normally use them.

Just be sure you re-enter that command every time you start hl2.exe, otherwise it won't remember the aliases for some reason.
