I heard this song such a long time ago. I still love it...funny Thing is of course, he raps everything but the chorus. I dont know what it says about me but this is the only song I like by them and thats probably because of the rap.
People have to realize, from a pure scientific perspective, that music is a combination of sound waves affecting your eardrums, thats all. The resulting way in which it affects you depends on a large number of factors, none of which being a result of someone elses perceived quality of that music. People arguing over whats good or bad is like having a serious conversation about the merits of the color yellow vs. blue.
if you hate rap chances are you don't understand it. i don't think you're racist if you don't like it, but chances are you haven't listened to the good material (if the only rap you know of is by artists like Lil Wayne, Soulja Boy and the like I can understand why you might not like it, but just because they are kinda popular doesn't make them good). Listen to Hip Hop saved my life by Lupe Fiasco and you might start to change your mind.

Yeah just look at country artists like David Alan Coe, he just oozes christian morality. That's rediculous to say ALL rap is immoral, and act like ALL country is pure and tasteful. I wouldn't expect a country music fan who's all high and mighty to verify this, but take my word for it there's some intelligent tasteful rap out there, you're probably not going to find any of it on MTV or the radio though.
